You know, if you move to Florida, I have another place to park my camper, i.e., the hillbilly villa. Good luck in re-uniting with your woman, even if it is only for 15 minutes. :scared1: :lmao:

Lol, I'd take 15 min with her any day! And of course you always have a place to park the Hillbilly Villa! I was checking out Golden Oaks and wasn't sure what the perks were, but looks awesome.

I avoid wearing socks now.
I don't have an umbrella. I have a nice rain jacket (Lands End).
We got all sorts of critters up here. I'm good.
I'll survive with the weather change.
Ike tore the roof off my house.
I grilled pork chops outdoors during a tornado.
Check on snowbirds.
I like alligators and want to wrestle them like on Gator Boys.
I wear crocs to work now. Do I have to change that practice?

Need to do:
Parking under trees in KY gets a lot of bird poop on the vehicle.
Yeehaw junction?
Publix stinks. We shop there on vacation and it stinks.
Hurricane party - only for the DisDads.
I'll get a drawer full of speedos and wear them to empty the toilet in the sewer in front of your house.

Am I ready?

Sorry Norm, you have some work to do.

Big check on your Ike experience.

Crocs are allowed but be prepared to be laughed at.

We don’t wear rain jackets or carry umbrellas.

Wrestling alligators is for the Miccosukee’s to entertain tourists not something we do. Floridians play on golf courses and you get a two stroke penalty if you hit one near a gator and don’t play the ball.

Yeehaw Junction is on the way from Miami to Orlando. When I was poor, I drove to WDW by taking 95 to Yeehaw and then over to the Turnpike to save on tolls.

A red card over your views on Publix. Well run, clean, great selection and good prices. You need to learn the term BOGO. A disney cult like feelings about Publix with their patrons.

Leave the speedos. Not allowed on the beach, pool… unless you are a Canadian tourist. Baggy suits with pockets for money, keys etc. are the preferred swimwear.

Hope this helps.

After listening to both side and giving it a lot of thought........Paul is right.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Really wasn't a fair match...

Arguing sporting prowess with a Montreal fan is like going against a one-legged man in a butt-kicking competition... ;)

Behind as usual and no time to keep up. CRUD. Hope to be back to my normal abnormal in a month or so. Until then, hope you are all blessed with plenty of whatever it is you want.

If you can afford the $1 Million for the smallest house, then you can afford all the perks you want.

Sorry Norm, you have some work to do.

.

I'm willing to move there and work on my list. But, I'll keep wearing crocs. I don't like that thing between my toes.

Anyone seen my nemie? Perhaps my assassins did not fail after all. Other than that, I'm thinking of dovetailing a 3 night cruise onto our disdad cruise. Thoughts?

My plan was to do Kona on Monday and then watch Wishes from TOTWL at BLT. You all are welcome to join us.

I think Monday is EMH at MK. DD and I may be there riding Splash 700 times after dark.:thumbsup2 Seems to be a tradition of sorts. If we decide not to do EMH, we are definitely in!

Close enough! Your neighbors will accept you immediately.:lmao::lmao:

Ummmm.....Just looked at my toes. Nothing between them. Please keep your shoes on, no one wants to see that.:scared::crazy2::confused:

Awesome post! I laughed so much, not fully for Disney reasons but Mainly because I miss living in FL, have been researching a move, jobs apartments for now and so on. And the woman I'm in love with lives there, she's been my best friend since I was 16. So hoping to make that happen in the near future.

Friends with Benefits!:cool1::cool1:

Nope. Haven't seen him. I'd check twice before starting that car in the morning. Who knows what he's up to.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

The Boston Bruins ROCK! 3-0 over Detroit. Series is Ovaah! Detroit needed to win both home games to have a shot.

Sorry Detroit Dads. Do we have any of those around here?:confused3

The irony of this post is off the charts... Good win. :thumbsup2 Hope they can keep it up. It has been about 6 months since we last celebrated a major championship. :sad1:
Go Bruins. I'll say it again. Being a Cubs fan, a Bills fan, and an Illini fan (and yes a Bruins fan), I need a championship somewhere.

:cool1: Looks like I missed the details somewhere... where you guys staying this time?
Thanks everyone for your well wishes:goodvibes
This trip we are staying at Pop, when we get back we will have 47 days till we are staying at AKL we were staying at the Jambo House but now we are staying at AKL Kalanii village for Star Wars weekend in June:cool1:, there are more trips planned but I don't want to be called names:rotfl2:pirate:

enjoy Ron. I love Pop and AKL

If I ever get in Golden Oak (legally, not trespessing) you and the expanded bunch are still up for the first visit. :

Sweet!

DW and I were talking about what it would be like to take them. I said I was going to put them in line at Aloha Isle and that way I can have a couple, and then a couple more on the way to an attraction!! She said something about sharing is caring Sesame Street crap, lmao

You could even stagger them in line, so that the ones in the front could buy a round, bring to back, and eat them while waiting to buy the next round.

I think he's been working more hours recently.

:

It is the EMH night, so don't worry about it.

Has anyone been to the Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show on I drive? Emma has really been into mystery shows lately thanks to my sweet MIL. Together they will sit and watch Miss Marple for hours on end. I figure since we are doing a non-Disney trip I might as well expand the choices and see what's to do in Orlando. This seemed interesting and won't break the budget (Entertainment book has a 40% discount for tickets). Just wanted to see if there were any eye-witness DIS Dads reviews out there. :magnify:

Good win. :thumbsup2 Hope they can keep it up. It has been about 6 months since we last celebrated a major championship. :sad1:

If they don't win the Cup, it will be a huge upset. All the hard work will be for not.

Hey guys- I have been lurking here for a while now, and finally decided to sign up for the DIS, and wanted to join you guys. I have been to Disney World four times in the last five years with my wife, including our Honeymoon and our First Anniversary, and are looking forward to taking our one year old son at some point in the next year or two. Anyway, it was nice to meet you guys!
