Good morning guys. Hope everyone is having a saturday that does not have work involved like mine.. but 3 days off is in my future then I think I work for 3 days and have off 3 more. Still don't have exact dates of when I leave so it feels like purgatory just waiting to leave so I can get back.
.....

Safe journey and on behalf of my family and I, Thanks for your service.

...Coincidentally, my wife just bought a nutribullet from Kohl's b\c our single size blender bit the dust. We use it daily for protein shakes int he morning, so it gets super abused!

:scared: Unless that is a protein shake of bacon, I'd skip breakfast.

... Now it's time for the 2nd day of this birthday celebration - shopping at Opry Mills Mall with DW and both dds. :scared1:  :scared1:  :scared1:

Maybe I can talk them into seeing a movie. popcorn::

Safe travels. I-65 can be a nasty road.

Shopped until we dropped. Actually, not too bad with a trip to the Disney store of course.

Sporting their new Katy Perry concert tshirts, it is time for lunch.

Good morning from Nashville, while the family sleeps soundly. I am unable to get past my morning wake up time. They had a great time at the Katy Perry concert, and I had a great time with Mike and Philip at the Sportsgrille. They were terribly slow in getting the NHL draft on the tv, but I enjoyed the evening talking Disney, soccer, women, family, work, and everything else in between.

Mike and Philip, thank you so much for taking time out of your schedules to hang with me. Mike, thanks for the drinks.

Good morning Dads. 3 weeks til DaWorld and 3 days til 180 day window for Christmas / New Years trip. Need to play those numbers today.

CJ hope ya get some sleep and all have a good weekend.

Norm and Phillip pretty much covered it and as expected 2 great guys and Dads. Lots of laughs including a sports bar taking over an hour to find the NHL Draft on TV but the conversation and comradery was a great time. Safe travel back home Norm and Phillip enjoy the weekend with your little princess.

Nice meet up guys. Norm you win by not having to go to the concert and instead meeting up with fellow Disney nuts to have a few beers. When are you at Vero in October? Thinking of stopping by.

Not sleeping again. Does diving help you sleep? Maybe it's time for a permanent vacation and dive everyday. Or, instead of buying a blender, there's something else you could buy (not on a payment plan) that could help you sleep. :confused3

You need to get Netflix for those kinda nights. I binge watch entire seasons of shows. Star Wars Clone Wars is on there now

Insomnia is no fun. Wish you could find something to help with. If not you might get a paper route and earn some extra bucks in case the Pirate Princess Pirate Crash ever starts thinking about getting hitched.

Back in the day, Jack Lalane would be on telling us all to exercise at that hour.

Not able to sleep is a part of my life for years. A few weeks ago I got 9 hours of deep sleep and it was amazing. First time in years. Done everything including multiple doctors but have not gone the drug route. Nothing really helps but such is life. I am used to it by now. Plus when I am motivated, I get a lot of stuff done. No paper route or Jack Lalane though.

Looking forward to Norms reply to this lol. I'm sure he did just fine, None of us were stumbling though.

Well it is not as potent as pixie dust but sometimes it can do the trick.

Beer power worked great. I had a margarita and land shark draft at Margaritaville, and Makers Mark & yuengling draft at the Sportsgrille.

Sounds like you had a good night.

Safe journey and on behalf of my family and I, Thanks for your service.

Thank you. It is my pleasure I do love being in the military and this happens to be part of it. Maybe not the best part of it but still a part. It should be cool though I will get to experience things I would never have the opportunity to do in my normal life.

Saturday shopping ownage. Bought some shoes, watched X-Men movie, and youngest DD climbed the rock wall and rang the bell. First time on the wall. A great birthday.

He did some juicer infomercials in my day.

We will be checking in that Tues. We are watching Wishes from BLT TOTWL Mon night. I'm guessing we'll leave WDW by noon on Tues and should get to VBR around 2:30 PM?

Sleep is wonderful. I am regular at 8 or 9 hours a night. If your doc won't give you a script for sleep, there is another more elicit option - sex, drugs, rock n roll - 2/3 should work.

Sounds like you had a good night.

I get so busy being a dad and a husband that I forget to enjoy the other fun times as well. Hanging out with good guys and good booze makes it great.

Morning all. Both dds are still sleeping, as the late night concert must have really worn them out. Grass cutting, Mass, and laundry are on the agenda today.

Morning Duck and the gang,

Lazy day for me today. Also doing some laundry and watching the world cup matches. Add on a quick trip to the grocery store once I figure out what to have for dinner. Maybe something Disney related. Any ideas?

Good morning guys, hope all is well! Should be a simi lazy day, thinking about grilling out despite the storms, and maybe alittle cleaning. This post marks 50 away from 2k, it's been a long strange trip on route to 2k.

Morning...Prayers/Congrats/Welcomes to all applicable, no way I will try to catch up. I tried to post or read a few times but my connection was spotty at best, some posts failed to post. :confused3

Been a pretty full week, we took the kids to GWL for a couple of days, followed by an excellent Beer Training/Workshop Wednesday, followed by insane business at work. Girls finally off school as of Friday, they are in Sarnia for 3 weeks spending time with their grandparents.

Just getting ready to head out to work, a very rare Sunday shift for me, a little OT to help out the summer budget, and to prep me for future Sundays, once we hit the fall I'll be doing more to earn extra Disney money for next year.:thumbsup2

Morning Guys.

Another lovely Sunday morning here, heading for a hot one. Probably going to be a lazy day, maybe get some packing done, watch some World Cup and then go play a game (I'm sure there will be someone playing that thinks is it the World Cup.

Top O the morning Dads. Girls took me out to dinner last night - with my credit card. Gonna watch some World Cup and beer can chicken on the grill today. DS is waiting for his two projects at TSA Nationals in D.C. To get scored to see if moves on in the competitions today. Have a good day.

Morning gentlemen. Im sitting around work just biding my time waiting to get off. I have a 3 day weekend so can't wait to be free today. Time to read a few TRs.

I get so busy being a dad and a husband that I forget to enjoy the other fun times as well. Hanging out with good guys and good booze makes it great.

I get exactly how you feel. Always great to have some time for you.

Morning Dads. Sounds like everyone has great plans for the last day of the weekend. We relaxed yesterday, went to a local park for some exploring, play and a picnic. DDs loved it. Nice sunny, hot enough day here in Calgary. Grilled some brats for dinner (takes about one beer to warm up the BBQ and another one beer to cook. Somehow, no matter what I am cooking that's the "timing"... ;).

DD 24mo. decided to wake up bright and early today so, I got up with her and let DW sleep. Made breakfast for my crew and now just relaxing with some good home brew... Coffee that is!

Didn't get out to get my new cowboy boots, hopefully will today. We have a pretty long family list of jobs.

Take care and happy Sunday all.

Rob

Glad I'm not as bad as you, I was getting 4-5 hours a night. Couldn't lay down any longer cause my back would hurt. Last week we got a new mattress and I am getting 6 hours a night and still able to put in a day at work with out getting sleepy. I'm with you on the meds though, I only take something when I am sick.

Any dads have a root canal done? Or better yet, Dr. Chris, any truth to the alleged heart attack connection to root canals?
