Morning everyone
I had to say that never understood this... If I were to fail to look and pissed all over the toilet seat it would be my fault, but if my wife fails to look and falls in, it is my fault too...Morning Dads!Enjoy your last day of leaving the toilet seat up!

Good morning!
I had to say that never understood this... If I were to fail to look and pissed all over the toilet seat it would be my fault, but if my wife fails to look and falls in, it is my fault too...
Strange.
(Don't know how to double quote on an iPad.)
Sorry to hear about the soccer fields. That was a dumb oversight on their part.

Thanks.
As for the toilet seat, your logic makes perfect sense. Yet, we are not dealing with an issue or creature of logic. I make this concession so that I get to hold the remote.
Afternoon fellas. It's been a long, lonely week. After getting some work done today I am enjoying some Kentucky hospitality in the form of Makers Mark. Courtesy of my good nemesis Norm

A Disney moment...We were on the Boardwalk and this kid is howling. Seems he dropped on of his favorite sandals into the lagoon and was distraught. The dad got a CM, who came down and radioed one of the lifeguard boats to make their way over. It took a while but she stayed right there with the kid and the father, trying to calm the kid down. Picture Norm dropping a bottle of Booker's bourbon on the pavement and breaking the bottle. That was this kid. After a while, the boat came by and they retrieved the sandal. They gave it to the kid and he said, "This is wet and yucky," and threw it back into the water. Actually he was a pretty happy camper and everyone around applauded for him.

Evening guys, So far so good. The trip up was relatively easy. Major thunderstorms just past Ft. Pierce but they stayed west of the Turnpike. Holiday Inn LBV is a nice short term place to stay. Our neighbors who have twin girls 8 months older than DD are staying at the BW so we went there last night. A Disney moment...We were on the Boardwalk and this kid is howling. That is normally 2 1/2 or 3 days worth. Check in at BW was smooth and efficient. We then took the bus to Downtown Disney to see Maleficent. Very good movie and although I am not a Jolie fan, she was great. After the movie we went to the room, which was ready, to change for an early dinner at the California Grill. Second time in 5 months and it was another hit. Great food, lots of laughs and more than a little reminiscing among the parents. They decided on mini golf, I decided to relax in the room. It just started pouring so I think I made out better. Good day today. Tomorrow is rope drop at the MK and then we may meet up as a group at DHS. First time on Mine Train and am looking forward to it. If I can, I'll post some pictures tomorrow.
Rough evening in our house. DW took the kids to get a couple of kittens to bring home. DS named them Sally and Penelope and held them in his lap all the way home. They weren't home an hour before they got into the kennel with the dogs.
Bad enough having to try to explain to a 4 year old that his kittens are dead. Then of course he wants to know why his dogs killed them. He told me before bed that he doesn't like his dogs anymore.
We've never had kittens around. We've got a stray cat that hangs out here but it is apparently mean enough to deal with the dogs.
Any one have any thoughts on Frontier airlines?
Since United pulled out of Cleveland as a hub, it appears Frontier is trying to grab some of that business and is starting to offer a couple flights to MCO and back non-stop. And pretty cheap!
I'm starting to think I might have been a little soon to pull the trigger on my DDC3 flight.![]()
Worse news - The fields are closed next season due to insufficient maintenance.
And, I didn't even walk by and say, "I told you so". I just don't get why people act the way they do.

Thanks for the positive thoughts for DS. He's actually handling it very well today.
Home from soccer tournament game #2.
Bad news - loss 4-2.
Good news - youngest dd scored our only 2 goals.
Worse news - I was on the Soccer Board a few years ago. I voted to spend more money on field maintenance and adjust age divisions. Another guy (not a DisDad) voted to spend the money on a 2nd concession stand grill, more food prep equipment and no on the age divisions. So, I told them they were wrong to be spending the money that way, left the Board, coached two more seasons, and then stopped coaching this season as well. Today, his kid was the Center Ref and completely screwed the team my child was playing on. It wasn't the first time he had done so. Since I don't know the kid at all, I assume his dad is just being a jerk and continues to harbor some vendetta.

It was a good day here today. DS and I hit up the Ribfest for a tasty treat and then off to X-Men in 3D.
Im pretty sure that the first seventeen paragraphs in all marriage contracts lock down right clearly that all things are your fault.I had to say that never understood this... Good morning Dads. Like Monday mornings are not bad enough I have to deal with the gut wrenching, heart breaking Hawks game 7 OT loss last night.
Remember the "Burger Time" video game from the '80s? That was a great game. That's how it works here. DW says she is running late from work and i'm in charge of dinner. It's pizza time, burger time, or pizza and burger time. With beer.
