Thanks, you keep warm too. You guys getting all the snow the East Coast is getting walloped with? DW is pretty rough, stayed home from work today. I'd really rather not catch it, she's pretty miserable right now. Can't afford to miss work this week either, already people short and I'm in charge of the nights.

We actually got the lower end this time. About 4 inches last night and a couple over night while we were sleeping. It's REALLY cold and windy though. That arctic air needs to stay in the arctic. I think I saw a polar bear heading south.:lmao::lmao:

In charge on night? Sounds like a promotion. I hope it came with lots of extra $$ and benefits.:thumbsup2 Yeah, we are going away in a few weeks and trying to be really careful about not getting sick. Too much to do between now and then to take days off. We all had flu shots so fingers crossed. Again, prayers that She feels better soon. Nobody is happy when Mom is sick.

Good morning guys. Office closed again and working again. About 4 degrees American with not a cloud in the sky.

It can't be the Apocalypse yet though because the Bills aren't in the Superbowl.

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao: Well if the Bills in the Super Bowl is the trigger we should have at least 20 more years to go.:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

So I watched the first episode last night. Very good stuff. I think the wife and I can get in to this. But are there really only three episodes in the first season? I got a 2-dvd set from the library and it looks like there are only 3 episodes total. And one other thing- based on their awkward interaction in the cafe, are we supposed to assume that either Watson or Sherlock are gay?

Yep… only three 90 min. episodes per year. The BBC ain’t like “Amerivision”. But those three episodes are truly that good. And it’s worth the time to watch them more than once the way you’d treat a good movie.

As for the gay question… that’s up to you. It gets addressed as the series goes on and I could give you my take on it, but I’d rather y’all watched more of the series and decide for yourself. It crops up as a possibility here and there and is tackled (somewhat) more directly in season three. There is an entire subculture that is obsessed with the possibility (especially in China for some whacked reason) that includes fan-fiction and alternate scripts. Go figure. Either way… keep watching. It’s good stuff.

Another non event 'blizzard' for us. Only 4.5 inches of dry powder, easy to move. 1 degree F was fun, but those surplus Artic mittens sure came in handy.

Yes, only a few episodes per season. It's suggested by other characters, but at least Watson is not.

No snow from this system yet, although there might be a bit on the weekend. We have more then enough as it is, not to mention a lot of ice still underneath it from before Christmas.

The senior full-timer gets acting manager pay when the Manger or Assistant are not in the store. It's not a promotion, hell I've been doing this steady for like 12 years now, whenever my evening shift comes up, sometimes the odd day time shift too. Not really worth much, maybe $12 a shift, no benefits except you gotta make sure everything and everyone gets along smooth. I work three weeks of days to one week of nights, so its like once a month now. Think it'll be years till I can get the seniority to get any sort of promotion.:sad2:

But hey! Four more years and I get an extra week of vacation to my yearly allotment ! :rolleyes1:rotfl2::headache:

Hump Day ownage.

Good morning guys. Office closed again and working again. About 4 degrees American with not a cloud in the sky.
.

Back at the office. Well, I was at the office and am now at the mechanic having brake work. Say goodbye to $350.

It can't be the Apocalypse yet though because the Bills aren't in the Superbowl.

The dance studio where my oldest DD attends has produced 2 NYC Rockettes. One of the most recent grads went to some special dance college ? in New York. To earn some money, she is a "Jill", one of the buffalo bills cheerleaders. I check out their page now to show my local home town support.

So far we got about 10inches of snow and it's still coming down strong:crazy2:
I've done my driveway and sidewalks twice, also did my elder neighbors sidewalk and driveway:thumbsup2 so it should be easy going on the shoveling tomorrow:cool2:
No one came to plow my driveway. I was out there at 7:30 snow blowing. :headache:

You really need me to answer that? I've met Mel, I am on her side.
I'm on her side too.

Morning Guys, happy hump day.

Still freezing cold here today but we are staying north of the blizzard.

This is not happening here right now:

That looks awesome!

Personally, I think it'd be hilarious. Make sure Mel posts video.

Tim - I retract my previous statement about having Mel take you out. Make this happen in August.

Then she can take you out.

And post the video.
I'm not sure I can do that but I might have some video somewhere I can show you. It might be on my other computer. Let me try to track it down.

That's about what we got. The numbers vary from town to town.

Check out this page and look for your town….. http://www.erh.noaa.gov/hydromet/erEventDisplay.php

I'm sure it pains you to do this. :scratchin

-34 degrees Canadian this morning......seriously!!

I agree with a few other Dads, someone definitely broke Global warming...

It was only -7 here this morning! (that's american not canadian!) :thumbsup2

Won't tell you what the temp is here today but I almost had to wear pants instead of shorts. If it is any solace, it will be in the 30's in Orlando tonight.

I hope they cheer better than the Bills play football.:rotfl2::rotfl2::lmao::lmao:

:cold::eek: No thank you. It was 6 degrees this morning here( no u's so it must be american.:rotfl2::rotfl2:). Stay warm. I'd send you out for milk and bread, but it would be frozen before you got home.:sad2:

So it was just a fine spring day to you then.
Did you bust out the flip-flops?
;)

It is truly amazing that after having so many days around 0, when it does creep up into the teens for temperatures, it actually feels warm!

*almost*

:beach:

We're in the teens for highs over the next 10 days...lows around 0.

Our normal high for this time of year is 35.

56 Days till spring! :thumbsup2

I know 60 is cold, right?:lmao::lmao:

Having fun with the kid. High today at school is 16 low tonight is 6. That doesn't include wind chill which has to be bad with 22 MPH gusts. Classes were canceled until 12 this afternoon. Of course her one class today is after that.

Yeah saw that Kali River Rapids, Typhoon Lagoon are closed and and hotel pools are on reduced operating hours

Still really cold. On dinner break listening to the POTC soundtrack (ride, not movie)

At this rate I might be the only one without the flu. I lost one worker tonight and 2-3 so far Thursday and Friday. And of course the boss wants some extra work done with a reduced crew. Something ain't right here.

Convert that to American, lol

Really @&@^#€£¥ cold.
