Oh, and it looks like I can add a new line to my siggy. :cool1::woohoo:

Congrats! I'm surely glad there was no $ on the line in these FF playoffs. I would have been quite surly over the performance of my team over these last few weeks after my team finished right up at the top with yours in the regular season.

My team did pretty well even after losing Julio Jones and Reggie Wayne to the IR this year. In my $ league I managed to scrape together 3rd place even after losing Wayne, Foster, Gronkowski, and most recently Ben Tate to the IR. I would have won it all had Stafford not wet the bed these last few weeks.

Sorry to hear this Darcy - prayers for you and your family

Thank you. This is the year we decided to spend Christmas at my parents so we will be with them at least. It will probably mean that we will stay an extra day for the funeral and delay Christmas with DW's parents for a day.

Hello DisDads:

I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and if people are traveling, I hope that their journey is safe and sound. Take care.

Same to you.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

CJ, what happened to the phins!?! They could have just done us a favor last week and let us have the 1 seed if they planned to just let Buffalo walk all over them anyway.

Well, maybe you can beat the Jets next week.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

You should be grateful. ;)

Given the way CJ and other Fin's fans reacted after beating the Pats last week, it seemed like their season was complete. Maybe the team took that vibe and stopped playing? :confused3

;)

Shut up both of you. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your crotch and may your arms be too short to scratch. Dolphins are mediocre. Have been for years. And yes, you lost to a mediocre team last week.

Paul, I am thinking about bringing a thermos of Bloody Marys to the half. You up for partaking after the race? I would ask Jim to join us but he did not man up and tell his boss and his better half that he was going to Disney World.

Anywhere, if it gets me out of the office!

Meet me at Flanigan's in an hour. Good wings, burgers and fantastic fresh seafood.

Father in law was sent to the hospital this morning...

Hope your FIL gets out soon Jim. Alright guys, enough of this. Too much crap going on right now. I think we all need a group hug. In a manly way of course.

Thanks! We did!

Dole Whip, ehh? Sounds good- I think I'll try one.

Glad you had a good time. I am chomping at the bit for our January trip. Wish you were up there (or down in your case) for the races.

Instead of paying attention to the debacle in Buffalo I worked on a video of the trip to Hawaii last year. Came across these...

I hope you Dad gets some relief soon Jim, terrible way to spend Christmas.

Thanks for the prayers. I am saddened to say he passed yesterday morning.

Sorry to hear Darcy. Thoughts and prayers to you and the family

Yes, but only one of them includes a ball gag.

You doing a Sconnie version of Pulp Fiction? :crazy2: :lmao:

:eek: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Happy Sunday Morning!

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen!

DS and DD have been back under the same roof for less than 24 hours and are all ready banished to their respective bedrooms. Fa-la-la-la-la. At least I get to go back to work in a week.

Welcome to my daily life. No matter they are doing, it's pretty much what the other wants to do but can't. I just try to sit and ignore it until it gets dangerous.:thumbsup2

Evening guys....been a long day, but tomorrow will likely be longer.

Funeral tomorrow, going to be the hardest.

Continued prayers to you and your family Brent.

So it's a one day work week for me. Interesting combination of the suckitude of a Monday combined with the excitement of a Friday. Not sure how to feel, except that I feel that I won't be doing a lot of work today. :thumbsup2

Nice. Two days (actually about a day and a half) for me. Just had a company lunch, pizza and some wine that someone ordered to bring home. Of course he made he mistake of having it delivered to the office. 4 of the 6 bottles will not be making it home.:thumbsup2

Paul, I am thinking about bringing a thermos of Bloody Marys to the half. You up for partaking after the race?
Why wait until after? Put it in a Dixie Cup and hand it to him as he runs. Best. Aid. Station. Ever.

Also, I'll be a neon snot green shirt. Look for me. I'll be thirsty. :drinking1
I think we all need a group hug. In a manly way of course.
I think that's a smack on the butt and a "go get 'em, tiger."

Thanks for the prayers. I am saddened to say he passed yesterday morning.

I'm sorry to hear that, Darcy. Prayers for you and your family.

You mean you weren't following along the live TR?

Uh...the sun was in my eyes.

Congrats. You were the better team, but I knew that before the game started. I think you'll roll over the Cowboys.

Coming off the Vikings loss, I was expecting a close game. I never dreamed that it would be a blowout.

What game? There was no game last night.

:rolleyes1

I know it may sound bad to talk about summer vaca with the news we got on DD's knee but just finished booking summer at WDW / BCV July 20 - 26. We were going to do Aulani but with looking at surgery / 8 week on crutches & parts being out of network that was out. DD made it clear that she better get some type if DIS vaca (pool and/or beach) this summer after surgery targeted for first week in May. So got DVC points - check, got SW flight points - check so only cost is a couple of days of park tix and food & lots less than Aulani. Se we discussed and Beach Club for more of a relaxing week with only a couple of days at parks at a slow pace. Scheduled for 10 weeks after planned surgery so we may still have to push her around parks but that is why I have DS :lmao:

Randall please feel free to add to front page.

For those traveling over the next week or so, safe travels, to those with the little ones that still believe this time of year soak it all in and enjoy and to those of us with the older kiddos enjoy the Christmas bills :crazy2::lmao:

Merry Christmas!

Page One Updated! :thumbsup2

I have a hard time playing FF for money. I've had too many seasons end in week 1 on an ACL injury to my best player.

Great idea. The pool at BCV will be useful for Aquatic therapy on the knee. Plus, she gets to be pushed around in a chair. Something for her (and the rest of the family) to look forward to.

Yea, like I am going to lug a bag with cocktails around the course. I imagine we will try to get together before the race and if you guys want a snort before you run, have at it. Not sure how much will be left afterward but I will be somewhere near the finish line. Should we declare a Dis Dad post half Bloody Mary meet?

And smack yourself on the butt. Go get 'em tiger.

What the? Double posted. I didn't do it, must be the site. Swear I didn't.

Sure you didn't. POST PADDER!

Congrats on the vacation. Should make her feel better a little quicker. If you need someone to push her around the parks, my services are available as long as you pay for my trip.:thumbsup2

Of the band wagon already? Go mediocre!:lmao::lmao::lmao:

OK. First, my boss didn't even know I wasn't here last Friday so that certainly is not the problem. We actually booked a vacation to the Dominican in February and I have to be at a work conference. However, the conference is in the state of FL and if I am able to get away for a few hours, I will make an appearance.

Thanks for the well wishes. UPDATE: FIL has a pretty good sized stone in his Bile duct. They are going to operate today at 5PM. Basically using an endoscope to go through the mouth and will break it into pieces and then remove it. The surgeons that are available are not able to remove the gall bladder for some reason and he will need to go back and have that done after the holidays. Hopefully at least the immediate problem will be solved and he will be feeling better. Looks like no good food for him this year as fatty foods can be a problem.

Of course a couple of year ago, DW uncle had a similar procedure and the surgeon nicked his pancreas. After that it was 6 months of pain and eventually her uncle passed away. Not a good situation. That was in a Florida hospital. We are counting on the Boston doctors being a little more proficient at their job, but FIL is pretty nervous thinking about it.

So I drive down to the World last Saturday and get there just in time to go to bed and get an early start at the parks the next day. My wife calls (she was flying in two days later) and says something I never thought I'd hear. "I think we should buy annual passes". Long story short, I'm the proud new owner of a) annual passes for the whole family :cool1:and b) the bigest credit card bill of my life:scared1:. In the long run it will save me money since I'll be there in August and at least one other trip in 2014 since DW suggested we go there without kids for my 40th. Who is this woman? So the DVC fund actually has a negative balance now. Oh well- DVC probably was never going to happen anyway.

Congratulations!

My DW and I were planning an adults-only trip to WDW in 2014 to celebrate our 40th birthdays as well. Then she got pregnant. So...be careful.

Congrats - seems like it takes the wife's a bit, but they eventually get into the DIS spirit :thumbsup2

:snooty: In the course of winning 11 AFC east championships in the last 13 years we've lost to a lot of mediocre teams. Won more than we lost though. ;)

And we're back to being friends! I am in! Nothing like a bloody after 13.1! :thumbsup2

And yes, Jim that is unacceptable. :sad2:

Hope your FIL gets out soon Jim. Alright guys, enough of this. Too much crap going on right now. I think we all need a group hug. In a manly way of course.

Agreed. Prayers and thoughts to all the dads going through this crap. Let's turn the corner.

Your plan is perfect CJ. I think you should wait at the finish line and whichever dad(s) get there first get to enjoy the cocktails. If there's any left for the stragglers, great. ;)

If DW gets pregnant there's a urologist in town who's going to have an awful lot of explaining to do.

...Speak for yourself. I knew the Dolphins were going to lay an egg and I guess I should be grateful to the Pats for keeping the Fins playoff hopes alive...

Didn't do the Bills much good.

I have a hard time playing FF for money. I've had too many seasons end in week 1 on an ACL injury to my best player.

Sometimes I wonder too but I get more entertainment value out of the $100-200 per year that I spend on it than anything else I do. DW wonders the same thing as she thinks I'm always angry about it but I'm truly not. I just like to yell at the TV a lot. :rolleyes1

I'm not sure if I should laugh or just offer you a drink and tell you that everything will be alright (if you continue to drink). :lmao:

Wow, sorry to hear that your DW is dating the town urologist....:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:
