Looks like the Sox are going down hard tonight. 5-0 already in the 4th. We all thought it was the pitching of Detroit. Dare I say the Sox are choking at the plate? At this point the sox hitters look like little league players. I'm actually getting a little bored tonight.

But looking better then the Yankees right now:lmao:::yes::

Norm did you go to Shula's:confused3

Yes, and i posted some pictures in my trip report. The steaks were absolutely amazingly tasting and extremely expensive. We had the best service of any restaurant I've been to. We had the souffle which was terrific, and two apps - French onion soup and shrimp - that were both great. The Mac and cheese dish wasn't all that great.

The two things I didn't like about it were the price and going thru that hotel. A convention had just got out, and these people were super slime balls, bragging about stealing accounts while someone was on sick leave.

The TiW card helped offset the price.

That's a good thing to be known for. Now if we could only figure out how much that's worth at review time.:thumbsup2

Zilch...:sad2:

Thanks. I posted over on FB as well and Aaron said it was only good for first show, so good to know. The only thing is that MDE shows the reservation, but it doesn't say "Fantasmic Package" Mama Melrose. I may call Disney and confirm it with them.

Speaking of MDE, we didn't have the bands when we last stayed at OKW, but I had set up the accounts. Somehow, we had 12 people in our family - 3 of me, DW, and both dds. I guess somewhere between check-in, DVC, and linking accounts, we ended up with our "evil twins". Disney IT is working on it. Funnily enough, since each of the people had tickets, there were still 16 tickets left linked to us. I told the dude to not change anything and we would just return and use the rest of them up. :lmao:

Heh when we checked in they had two rooms ready for us...we had Good twins added to ours. This is likely the partial cause of DW's band issues.

For the record, I tried to get back the refund for the second room we didn't need. They didn't bite. :sad2:

Now you know why I like it there:thumbsup2 It is a bit pricey, but it keeps a lot of people away without being on the DDP, it almost makes it a kept secret :rolleyes1

So how did you like the bread, was it fresh and warm enough for you:confused3

That bread was really good. And, the butter was soft and ready to spread. DW wouldn't let me get the Alaskan King Crab Claws at Fulton's because they were $82 a pound. Maybe after the Shula's steak prices, she was shocked.

Tip: Please don't go to the Canadian Olympic rebuttal, it's overplayed, and quite frankly, weak... You're better served to just respond as such:

Who's this broad?

She needs a few of her moles looked at.

Besides, I likes my women Uh-mer-eh-can

I'm assuming this is the type of math question in your canadian text books:

The answer is Bacon!
Isn't it always? :surfweb:

If you join the Shula fan club they send a coupon for your Bday (good for a few weeks) for a free entree, I haven't used one yet, but it looks like you can get anything except, 4lb porterhouse, 4lb lobster, surf and turf and maybe a couple more, I have to sign my wife up since we usually go in Nov, and her Bday is end of Oct:thumbsup2

Since we are talking about Disney for once, has anyone used Garden Grocer for non-DVC stays? Even though we are going to have a car, Melody would rather just have an order delivered. Since I have no idea when our room will be ready, and after check in we are heading straight to the parks, how is the food stored? We are going to need milk and other perishables.

That would be good. If we head back over to the Dolphin, we would like to try the Bluezoo.

I have never eaten at Bluezoo, I did get my Inlaws a GC a for there a couple years ago, they said it was really good:thumbsup2. It will be pricey there as well:crazy2:

and uhhhhhh how does that work?

Regular groceries get bagged and go into a plastic tote, anything cold or frozen goes in a tote with a foam cooler with the right amount of dry ice to keep temp, I don't know for sure if that is the way they do it down there, but I can't really see many other ways it can be done:confused3

I think you suggested I lose my commando card, yet I'm not the one who went back to the resort before the park closed. :stir:

Evening guys...long day today, lots of people calling in sick after a long weekend. :rolleyes2 Had to stay an hour late being the only one there who could unload the truck when it finally came. Better get the time owing back since there is a changing of bosses at the end of the week.

Huh? Which family did I meet?:rotfl2:

Does this mean I have to actually watch the movie?

This year was an eye opener for me, as I was getting run down halfway through the trip. My position in the family was the one who could go all day go-go-go and suffer few ill effects, unlimited Disney Energy. First few days, no problem, but after that....I found myself...tired. The heat/humidity did a number although I think there were some underlaying reasons I need to look into further. Yes we opened/closed a lot of parks, but I think we far from commandoed anything, but we got everything we wanted to do done plus. I rather enjoyed the down time moments. Girls did some of the pool games and they even won a round of trivia (thanks to me knowing the answer to a "difficult" question.) scoring a pool toy. Another fond memory was just sitting up at the main street train station, looking up main street, watching a storm roll in then hit us.

We used to stress over getting to the next attraction etc, having every little move planned out. When we went a couple of trips ago we said to hell with that, and took the "Go with the Flow" motto. Other then ADRs and whatever fastpasses would lead us, just see what was around the corner, gp with what seemed right at the spur of the moment, and we loved it. We findwe can get everything done all the same, without killing ourselves to get it.

Good Morning! Well, I guess we're gonna meet this baby today. I am not a morning person but for this I can make an exception. T-minus 90 minutes!
Congrats and good luck with the kiddo!

There was a disturbance in the force testify yesterday, but today it was restored. Breakfast at Ohana, then MK (dole whip included), back to the resort for 30 minutes, then walked to DHS WHERE we hit TSM, TOT, RR and the Jack Sparrow experience and got some dinner. Then a boat ride back to the resort followed by extra magic hours at EPCOT where I got beers from Morocco, Japan and the U.S. managed tho hit Maelstrom and Soarin', too. Nice day. Tomorrow is DD2 BDAY and we're celebrating at CRT. Hoping for another great day.

1st Cheetah: "We take out the one holding the flag first. The rest won't know where to go"

2nd Cheetah: "Yea, then we can pick them off one at a time."

:lmao: do they taste like chicken? :lmao:

[FONT=&quot]Show of hands... how many of you feel like this when you find out you're going to Disney World/Land??

Tim, we used it. Placed our order online and it was waiting when we arrived at AKL. Once our room was ready they brought the food up. They had kept the cold stuff refrigerated until they brought it to us.
