Stayed home on Tuesday and as part of the yard work, I filled in around our driveway and planted some new grass. When I got home yesterday, my wife had driven over it while parking the van. Two hours of work gone in about 3 seconds. Of course when I explained that she drove over it, I got yelled at. Had to redo the whole thing last night.

It's a test, they have to be testing us.....

Maybe the girls caught a new pet bird. I can picture you chasing around and it looks like a good Youtube video.

More me propping door open trying to get it's attention to fly out, wasn't going near that thing. If I knew how it got here I'd feel better.

Funny, really beverly stuff always happens the Thursday before Thanksgiving around here

Morning....

It's 9am and I am already frazzled. Came home from dropping off the girls to find a bird in the apartment?? After getting it out the balcony door, I took a good look around....there is absolutely no where it could have gotten in?? Checked all the windows, secured, balcony door was locked, the vents are all tight. Utterly bizzare.

Don't know why, but it freaked me out a little, So I called DW. She laughed at me. I will remember that next time she spots a spider.

I'm willing to bet that there are penguins behind it. Just sayin'.

Morning guys. Great run by the Pirates, too bad it had to end! Congrats to STL fans though!

As a Pittsburgh guy and long time fan, it was thrilling to see baseball again in the Burgh. I disengaged from baseball from about 2000 to 2010. I don't know what brought me back, but my timing was good. i was able to see the Bucs climb back to mediocrity and then get over the hump. A .500 record would have been success, but beating the Reds in the WC game, followed up by going the distance with the Cards was far more than any Pirate fan could have hoped for. For the first time following one of teams getting bounced from post-season play, I am not even remotely upset.

Perhaps my Disney trip in 2 days is helping to mask some of the symptoms!

Busy last few days finalizing taxes after filing for an extension. Got hurt a little bit but it could have been worse. Looking forward to the weekend.

Morning Guys. Missed a day so heading back to see what I missed. DD turned 11 yesterday.....where does the time go?.....Stayed home and cleared out the tress, bushes and vegetation in the back of the yard to start the process of building a new deck and fire pit. When DD got out of school, we went mini golfing and have a date for the movies with a couple friends this weekend. Here is DD with her cake(Halloween theme of course with an Oct. birthday:...

Morning, men. Last day of work before I'm officially on vacation. Busy day in the office followed by a fundraiser walk for Leukemia

Then it's about 1.5 sleeps until we're on our way to the World.

I can feel the excitement building all the way in Miami. Have fun.

No clue on what drugs the giving me yet. I'd really like it if it just as you described. I really don't want to remember anything...especially any of the foolish things I will like say under the influence of said drugs.

Grey Goose slushies. I like the lemon better.

Orange Dole Whip with alcohol. Creme de something. It was ok once all the ice cream melted, but not as good as the pineapple dole whip.

Afternoon fellas! Ran in my companies 5k at lunch time. It was planned for last week but got rained out. It was quite sunny so now I get to sit in my office in my own stench all afternoon .

The good news is now I get to sit in my own stench all afternoon. And I get to go out with the guys to watch the Bears game tonight. I can almost taste the Oktoberfest beers now.....
