Morning, men. Last day of work before I'm officially on vacation. Busy day in the office followed by a fundraiser walk for Leukemia Light the Night Walk

Then it's about 1.5 sleeps until we're on our way to the World.

I was nervous the first time I had surgery. Do you know what drug you're getting? Once they put the needle in you, start counting slowly. I'll bet you don't make it to 5. Next thing you know, you'll be that groggy guy getting wheeled to the car.

No clue on what drugs the giving me yet. I'd really like it if it just as you described. I really don't want to remember anything...especially any of the foolish things I will like say under the influence of said drugs.

Good luck and prayers for successful knee surgery. I had major knee surgery in December 2011. Surgery went well. Recovery has been looonnngggg, but that was due to the severity of the injury. Have a nice week at home!

It's 9am and I am already frazzled. Came home from dropping off the girls to find a bird in the apartment?? After getting it out the balcony door, I took a good look around....there is absolutely no where it could have gotten in?? Checked all the windows, secured, balcony door was locked, the vents are all tight. Utterly bizzare.

Don't know why, but it freaked me out a little, So I called DW. She laughed at me. I will remember that next time she spots a spider.

Stayed home on Tuesday and as part of the yard work, I filled in around our driveway and planted some new grass. When I got home yesterday, my wife had driven over it while parking the van. Two hours of work gone in about 3 seconds. Of course when I explained that she drove over it, I got yelled at. Had to redo the whole thing last night.

Had a plumbing problem on Tuesday. We turned on the outside water to finish the grass planting and the shut off inside the house was leaking faster than the hose outside. Had to shut the house water off, drain the pipe and change the valve. Luckily I caught it right away. Had a similar problem on the other side of the house a few years ago that flooded the finished basement. $2K, 3 weeks and an insurance claim later everything was back to new.
