He's played well in both games. Maybe one goal against TO he should have had but all the goalies are still adjusting to the new pad sizes. The 5 hole isn't getting closed as quickly as it use to with the smaller pads. In the games that I have watched this week there have been some great goalie performances all around.

Good thing Alan Bester is long retired,he had enough 5 hole issues as it was
So even reducing the size of the pads isn't making an impact on scoring though, looks like it's still down in general. Goalies are just that good. I thought Price was hyped up too much upon comming in, which can only negatively impact a preformance, putting too much pressure to live up to said hype, especially in a pressure-cooker atmosphere like Montreal. Hell, I think think fan/media expectations are higher there then in the Toronto fishbowl for any touted player, and if something falters, it's blown out of proportion.
Agreed about the pressure. It seems that if Toronto loses, people get angry but simply chalk it up to the way it is. In Montreal, they have near lynchings and riots.
In the end, it doesn't mean much because like you said, fans half expect it to go wrong at this point, thanks to the Ballard years and conditioning.
Is 7 AM too early for a beer? Not when there is football on. Fly Eagles Fly!
Sucks to be you right now.

I was born and raised just outside Philly. My job is what brings me to Hawaii. I'm not a diver but I do snorkel from time to time. We actually spend most of our free time at the ice rink. I play hockey and my daughter takes lessons.

Understandable about the fan base. Do you get to do anything cool? CJ lives in Miami, works out of his home on occasion, scuba dives, and visits the topless beaches everyday. Ok, so I made up that last part (maybe) so we enjoy the life of CJ. If you are a helicopter pilot touring the volcanoes and topless beaches of Hawaii, we may want to stalk you.
CJ has been working on installing camper hookups (for several years now) so us DisDads can park in his front yard, i.e., Cousin Eddie in Christmas Story. It would be more difficult to get the campers to you in Hawaii, but we're willing to plan it -- if the price is right --.![]()

Just be careful if you have a yard or any acreage, Norm'll try to get a trailer there for hook-up, Miles of Ocean will not stop him..

Popping in real fast. I know there are some Apple geeks here. DD dropped DW's iPad and now the screen is blank. It will flicker occasionally. Any ideas on how to fix it?

you rock! !!jbwork said:well, it could just be broken,
But, it could be the sensors inside being stuck, which will cause it to flicker in and out, or the video connections. There is a "nightstand" trick you can try, get a solid table/object and kind of hit the edges of the ipad perpendicular to the table. There is also "the hammer" method, which *i* have never used, but it seems to be the same thing.

those are the easy diy fixes. The apple store is usually pretty legit on their estimates if you take it in, and won't charge you 500 bucks to fix a $400 toy. That said, its the apple store, so ya know, there is that...
If you wanna get hardcore you can actually crack it open, but i wouldn't bother unless you really know what your doing. Lots of people have success with the non-apple repair places too, like i-fixit or whatever. They usually have the most common parts on hand and fix them in a day.
