Thanks for the answers Norm and CJ.

We're not in a big hurry. DS and I sat in on a presentation while on the cruise and it got me thinking. We had talked about it before but never seriously. They maade it sound pretty good so I am poking around a bit to find some answers.

We found out on Saturday that one of Declan's team-mate's family are DVC owners. He said he was piking around on-line and found my trip report for the cruise we just finished and in talking he told us they bought in a couple of years ago.

Spent a good part of the afternoon on the phone to DVC Member Services. The May trip got moved from Saratoga to Animal Kingdom Standard View. That netted me 8 more points that I would lose in June. Added two more days and "rented" the remaining points I needed from Disney. So the trip is the 20-26. Woo Hoo!

Also reserved our room for Marathon Weekend. The Pirate Princess told me she wants to do the Dopey Challenge (5K, 10K, Half and Full). Have a Pool/Garden View Studio from the 8th to the 13th. Double Woo Hoo!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I figured you did. It was almost gone and then we added about a foot last week. There has been some melting the last couple of days.

I agree with you on the August heat over the long wait times.

More the reason to keep it out now. They are talking a bit of rain/snow mix Wednesday morning though, but doesn't sound lasting.

We've been a few weeks before Easter, and it was very nice. Scared to go during Easter week.
Problem was, it set the bar for us for low crowds, everything else now "feels" busier.:rotfl2: Practically everything was walk-up

If our penguin army isn't enough to defend our nation, we're brining in Chinese Renforcements

Not the Panda's!:sad2::sad2: I thought you already had the Polar Bears.

Nice job with the reservations. Life is rough in CJVille.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

As long as it doesn't screw up my flight Wednesday morning. I'm flying through Pearson first thing in the morning.

Hello guys, I know that it has been a long time. I have lerked now and then and have enjoyed reading but have not checked in. Out family is returning to WDW again this year although we were not supposed to. Just can't miss it. We r doing a first and bringing our new (to us) camper down and staying on sight. We have driven down many times but not combined our love for camping with WDW.
We leave the second the kids are out of school on the 12th. We told the kids by calibrating DALMATIAN DAY.

September had really low crowds. It was hot, but great walking on rides. October has lower crowds, when you don't go on weekend and Columbus Day weekend, with Food & Wine.

Good to hear from you again. We've never done the Fort Wilderness camp grounds, but always thought about. I'm still planning on putting the camper in CJ's front yard.

Only time it fely "busy" when we went in October was Epcot on a Saturday during the F&W (that`s when the locals show up) and our last Saturday there, where it was lines and wall-to-wall people, compared to the previous Saturday, where we had 1/2 the park done by 1pm

Morning Guys,

finishing up a few tasks today before heading back to Orlando in the morning. Should have a few good days before driving back.

Hey Kris! Good to see you around again!

Didn't mean to answer for you. Not sure when you would return or how soon Darcy need to know. I looked at a west coast swing - Aulani for some nights and VGC for some nights. I'm thinking that would be a nice trip for our 20th aniversary.

I didn't know you owned at BWV. I really do like that resort.

Norm, finally getting on a plane I see, whenever your 20th is. Looking forward to the VGC trip in Oct (i looked and even though i rented points, all of my days were available at the 7 mo mark ) would like to do Aulani some day too, it'll prob be next summer or fall before I finally get to use my DVC points for a stay. My brother and SIL are staying on my points at SSR for Star Wars weekend ll (covers my dues for next year) . Hope you and your family have been good, let me know if y'all are still thinkin of coming down to opry mills soon

‘Morning all…
Back at work today :sad2: but I should be thankful to even have a job that I hate.

It’s a short week here at least with Friday declared a holiday.
DW has to work Friday though. She’s off Monday, but I can’t even take that as vacation.
Have to get up early and work Easter morning as well.
Typical…

Happy Birthday to your DW today. Sounds like you have a good 18th birthday planned for DS. Getting ready for my oldest dd and DW to leave for school trip to DC in two weeks, youngest dd has been planning daddy/ daughter date nights. She told DW that she will have been on more dates with me than her after that week. Post kids, she may be right.

Thanks, I made sure she enjoyed the day. All is right with the world.

You DD is going to really enjoy getting to explore DC. It is rather an amazing place (so long as you aren’t dealing with the dysfunctional folks that are trying hard no to run it). The city itself though, that’s amazing and there is much to see, experience and learn about. We need to get back up there some time and see more of it ourselves.

Hope it's an easy, cheap fix! My last house had the water heater in the attic! (Edited to say that it never broke on me though!)

Ya’ know… it could just be my imagination, but I’m detecting just the slightest hint that you could be somewhat miffed about something.

So what’s causing the water problem?

Well throw some fish in there and get cracking!:lmao::lmao: Hope it is something easy to fix. Maybe the seal on the door? We had that problem and it was an easy fix. Do you have an idea of where it is coming from?

I guarantee you that, given my history, this is not the case...

:rotfl2: Yeah, a little....:rotfl2:

I don't know what's causing the issue yet...I can't find a catastrophic leak.
