These are Butterfinger Cupcakes. I made them at home. Trying to replicate the ones they serve at Starring Rolls Cafe in DHS.

Chocolate cupcake with fudge frosting filling, butter cream frosting on top. covered in melted chocolate and crumbled butterfinger bars.

in other words... BREAKFAST!!!

Checking in from sunny Florida. Made it out of Wisconsin ahead of whatever snowfall is hitting the state. Had a nice conversation with a newbie family waiting for our connecting flight in Kansas City. They seemed amazed by what you can do with a FastPass. Lunch at Waffle House, now heading to the inlaw's place for a few days of RnR before the cruise and AKL.

Hey Barry. Glad you got out OK. Enjoy the cruise, we still want to cruise someday. Remember the pictures for us sitting around and watching the rain and snow. Have fun!

glad to hear you made it safely to Florida. I initially read it as you were heading to the inlaw's for a few days of Rock n Roll. I clearly need to get WDW off my mind as its acronyms are taking over.

Yup. Had to think about it. Figured Barry's relatives did one of those backyard Disney things and put in a coaster.

Ok my Fellow DISDads I am putting down a DISDad Challenge!

The challenge is to get a picture of a Dole Whip with Bacon!

I just think that the flavors would go together very well, and I want a picture of it!

The winner will get a Fabulous DISDad No-Prize!

Please no Photoshop pictures.

I'll be posting this in all Three Clubhouses.

Hey. I have been super busy with work. Then I have been busy with DD. then we got these pesky snow storms that have freaked out most of northern Illinois because we never get snow here. Like ever. Lastly, we have an opening for associate judge so I have been politicking. Black robe, here I come (soon)

Ok, noted. While traveling in IL, obey all laws and watch out for that new judge guy. Remember the grim reaper wears black robes too.

Expecting 4-8 here from tonight through Friday morning. Temps are supposed to be border line so we have 3 different forecasts right now. Stay dry.

What's the point? It's going to be in the 50's in a few days. I'm just going to leave it since there won't be any more accumulation.

Ingredients

2 20 ounce cans Dole crushed pineapple with juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/3 cup sugar
1 and 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped

Directions

Drain pineapple; reserve 2 tablespoons juice. Set aside.
Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender or food processor container; cover and blend until smooth.
Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags and store bags flat in freezer.
Freeze 1-1/2 hours or until slushy.
Stir pineapple slush gently into whipped cream until slightly blended, in large bowl.
Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour.

OK, anyone wishing to try it at home, just add bacon! Looks like a fun thing to do with the kids.

Told ya Mary Poppins was awesome... Same show as T.O.? A bit different from the movie? With Mrs. Andrews? No Penguins? and Park Statues? Favorite scene for me was the Bird Lady.

Yes Mary Poppins was great. Definitely a little different from the movie. Mrs. Andrews sounds familiar. No Penguins. And yes, Park Statues.

The Bird Lady scene was great...the actress that played the part was very good and her voice was awesome. But, I have to say, my favorite part was the scene with Miss Curry when Mary was buying some "letters".

But, then again, the scene where they are transported into the sidewalk drawing was amazing too.

Outstanding show.

DW is calling today to pre-reserve our tickets for Lion King this summer.

Not the actual ones from Starring Rolls, but the ones I made... YES. Breakfast today, tomorrow, friday, and perhaps through the weekend if they last that long.

At least this means I'll be awake for the Blackhawks game tonight. And based on what I read on here last week, I checked out Black Cauldron. I'll be watching that with the kids this afternoon.
