Took the Aztek to the dealer. Computer codes indicate a transmission problem. I've got the actual words over there. I think the plan will be to just drive it in town until the transmission falls out of it. Maybe there is a button I can press to turn it into a motorcycle with really thick tires.

I've changed a couple transmissions, not recently but I picked up a used trans at the junkyard (usually give you a 30 day warranty), I've only done rear wheel drive transmissions they are not that hard to do, but if you do not have a lift and a transmission jack, most likely you will have difficulties:crazy2: (I Love my garage:goodvibes:thumbsup2)

I have joined the rank of Certified Disney Vacation Planners. Yeah...
Well know I have to get after DW to finish her training and book some clients.

DW Just asked me to ask how you went about getting that cert.
She has helped so many people with their trips that she should be there already.
Please tell. I'm interested in getting involved.

Barry?

Following Bigfoot I have heard of this elusive creature that roams Wisconsin, It's name given by locals is FreezinRafiki, it is harmless but gives off a strong skunklike cheese odor and for some strange reason it likes to capture white cats and feed them cheese until the turn a orange color, also it throws cheese balls at those who are too close, so if you are ever in the woods of Wisconsin and smell cheese a FreezinRafiki could be close by:crazy2:

FairyTale Journeys, there are a few DisDads that are independent agents for them and I think there are link outs on the DisDad website.

I was right. This must be one of those "if you give a million monkeys a million typewriters you will get Shakespeare eventually" moments.

TGIF Guys!

Hope you have a great one. I get to spend a few hours at our provincial legislature today, the perfect way to end a week.

I hate that you are right, but I figured you were. Now, it is the decision making process. My plan is to drive it until it won't drive no more. It is a local vehicle and DW has AAA, so the tow will be covered. Then, do I replace a transmission on a 9 year old vehicle with over 100k miles? But, can I find a replacement vehicle that is 9 years old with 100k miles for under $3000.

Congratulations.

I am not that talented. I can put in a ceiling fan (to an existing box), but that is about the extent of my mechanical expertise.

DW texted me this morning that there was stream coming out from under the hood of the van when she parked it at the transit station. Of course the warranty expired six months ago.

What color was the stream? Did she have the A/C on?

I feel ya. I hope you get better news than I did, but yours might be more pressing.

For the record... the most Beverlys consumed at one time by a DIS Dad is 20... by me. Here's the proof:L]

For the record, I'm never drinking one. I'm all for competition, but why do you want the record for who can drink the most nasty crap?

Well, I always see pictures of people dressing in costume to run these races at Disney World. Maybe this is Barry's costume for the next race as payback for the stroller fiasco. :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

And that costume will continue all the way down to Barry's toes? :scared1: :scared1:
