Today it was just me and my son, so we went somewhere that Mom doesn't like to go since it gives her the creeps:rotfl:, we went to Insectropolis it is a bug museum with plenty of live bugs, spiders and other crawly things:woohoo:

We always learn a lot of new things about bugs when we go, There are some real pest bugs that destroy crops & other plants or trees, but for the most part most bugs have a purpose that actually help us out in some way, so the next time you go to squish a bug take a second to see if it is a helpful bug, if it's a pest squish it, if not let it go since without it the pests may show up:scared1:

Thank you for the entomology lesson Mr Science! :lmao:

Remember Ron, that spiders eat flies!

Morning guys. :surfweb:

Time to pull out the shorts and sandals. Temps are hitting 50 and the snow is all but gone. :cool1:

My inner 7 year old wants to see that. I'd love a review.

It was no go on GiJoe. We are going to Opry Mills Mall today. Maybe after DW drops coin on a new purse, I can talk her into seeing the movie there.

Nice! I need to get me some of those 3 day weekends!

I have lots of those weekends, but don't get paid as much. It is a trade off.

No kidding, 19 years ago when DW and I honeymooned at WDW we should've stayed:sad:

I had a house and a job in KY, so we came back. Still, what was I thinking?

I find myself looking for jobs in FL almost daily. Ugh....

Me too. But, DW's parents live in the same town. So, I'll have to find something where I can afford a lot of plane tickets.

Happy Birthday to define!

Stupid auto correct.:headache::mad:

My apologies to the birthday girl. Let's see it correct that one.:lmao:

Looks like the Carnival Triumph decided it is ready to be on the move again... :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

At what point do you just give up and turn it to scrap? :confused3 :rotfl:

Appears to have sustained damages to the horn in its stern. Sounds painful.

Carnival just can't catch a break. Of course the news channels bring up all of the problems the last two years to remind everyone when they show breaking away.

Looks like it will take a while to fix the damage. They may want to change the name of the ship. I know it's supposed to be bad luck but how much worse can it get?:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Morning Guys,

First day of a 2 day work week for me!

Just be careful and don't work too hard. We all know how difficult those 2 day weeks can be.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Morning guys. :surfweb:

Time to pull out the shorts and sandals. Temps are hitting 50 and the snow is all but gone. :cool1:

Supposed to be 60 here by Monday. Cold the last few days, but the shorts are ready when the warmer temps hit.

Actually read a good article about global warming that had scientific evidence that the melting ice shelves actually cool the temperatures. I'll see if I can find it again and post. By melting, it actually cools the ocean and the air temps and helps prevent further melting under the surface.

Hey Paul and Dads in the northeast.:wave2:

Saw last night that JetBlue is going to have 2 flights out of Worcester. One to Orlando and one the Fort Lauderdale each day. If you book before the deadline, end of April I think, the flights are one way $60. It's a long drive to get to the airport, but I think the flights for January may have just gotten a lot cheaper.

Indeed. It was probably about 20 years ago that I went there on a youth trip. Man, that was so long ago.

IbeAbitGOOFY, do you have a nick name that is shorter than IbeAbitGOOFY? Because IbeAbitGOOFY takes a long time to type and I'm afraid I will misspell it. :)

Good morning guys.

Went and played basketball last night. I put virtually no effort into it and didn't go flying through the air trying to block any shots like I normally would. I usually play for about 2 hours, but this time a couple of guys were talking about leaving after about an hour. I figured I can still walk, no bones sticking out, I'm good. Time to go home. Kind of hard to forget what I saw Sunday... :faint:

I saw an article a number of years ago that said the melting of the arctic ice was causing the warm ocean current in the North Atlantic to shut down.
