Pro Bowl. I know it's not real football, but it is still football. Plus, I can dream about Hawaii. I'll book the lodging if you'll book the airfare. Lakers game was good.

Deal, I'll book it asap. Just PM me CJ's cc info when you get a minute. :thumbsup2

He scared me with the Red Sea concrete shoes veiled threat. His whole family seems to know how to shiv - they must be mobbed up. You'll have to steal a credit card from someone else.

You've been to Hawaii? Where did you stay? I used to think that sushi was sushi. Then, after having it prepared fresh at the local sushi place here, I tried it at the Chinese food buffet. No comparison - fresh tastes way better. And, the Japanese hibachi close by does really good sushi, as good as I had at Cali Grill (and a lot cheaper).

Here is a YouTube link to a Blue Angels practice video from 1/26/2013 in El Centro. You can hear the control tower giving Boss the all clear for take-off as well as Boss giving commands to the pilots (it sounds like he is singing). Boss is David's pilot in the #1 jet. Typically, the pilots will fly 3 times per day, 6 days per week in El Centro to get ready for the 1st airshow of the season on March 16th. The 1-4 jets take-off first followed a few minutes later by the 5 and 6 (the "solo" jets). Boss can be heard giving commands like, "Smoke on"; "Here we go"; "Up we go"; "A little power"; "Even more power"; "A little pull"; "Smoke off"; etc. When someone is going up for a "ride", the two-seat #7 jet sneaks into the lineup. And, if a jet is down for some reason, you might see something like 2 #4 jets or 2 #6 jets instead of the normal 1-4 and 5-6. Things are still early on in training so the formations aren't as tight as they would be during the show season and the 5 and 6 jets don't always take-off together.

Stayed on the big island, It was in my early teens (way to young for a trip like that) all I remember is having sushi and poi for the first time (you can tell which one I love ) and we went to a really cool luau. I fully agree I've had buffet and fresh sushi, hands down fresh might cost more but well worth it

DW and I talked about it. With our DVC points, it makes the lodging no big deal. But, the airfare is just crazy expensive, especially times 4. Maybe one day.

I hope you all had a nice Sunday. Mine started this morning while I was still sleeping. Melody started screaming- I jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen. She was holding Christopher and there was 8oz of curdled milk puke all over the floor, all over Christopher, and all over Melody. Luckily, he didn't puke again but the poor kid was shot all day. He ate a little bit tonight but I don't know what the night holds. Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow.

Sure, what time will you be there? :lmao:

Think any other Dads might want to come this time? :rolleyes1

Well based on how many Dad's live within 90mins travel time, and the fact that The new Grand Poopba of the DDC will be there I think we will get some turnout:confused3, Nice picnic area, lots of animals, it would be as close as we can get to AK as we can get up here:thumbsup2, maybe if someone cool is at the Members only clubhouse I can get everybody in, we kinda pushed it last time but it worked out OK:confused3, I can also find out if any Commando's would like to go, a few of them live in the 90min range:confused3, The more the better:thumbsup2

We were at the Philly Zoo about 5 years ago... was a pretty cool zoo... very compact.

:thumbsup2

Decided not to cook so I went out to a good sports bar down here for dinner. Pro Bowl wasn't even on the TV until patrons asked to change it from the golf channel. Nobody there knew it was on. Dinner was great. Prime rib for $15 with all the trimmings. Fat and happy right now.

Cool video. Sent it to the Pirate Princess whose "boyfriend" is currently in the Air Force Reserve training to be an aircraft mechanic. Something for him to shoot for.

Genetics and upbringing are tough to fight. So I don't see any reason to fight it.

Probably getting you back for going to Disney without him and his sister. Hope he feels better tomorrow.

Remember those days. Looks like you get those for quite a while longer. Hang in there.

Sounds like a good evening. This year's game was better than last.

Evening....DD's all home safe, had a great fun weekend, she got in sledding and finding animal tracks etc. quite tired, sounds like she was up way past midnight..:rotfl2: Had dinner at my parents, and got everything they needed up in their attic, kids had loads of fun with them too.

I like that. Can DS handle it when a five year old girl he doesn't know gives him hugs?

I don't think he would mind, after all he's having his party at WDW :thumbsup2

He and Amelia got along quite well I thought a couple of years ago...he should have fun with a larger group.

:scared1: Yikes, hope he feels better soon. Last time we had to deal with the curdled milk puke, it was on a bus to MK our last day there.:scared:

Yes Hunter enjoyed very much hanging out with Amelia, he gets kinda confused every year when we go that everyone he hangs out with is not the same person as the last time, but if the kids are around the same age group he's in heaven:thumbsup2, I always tell him he has lot's of friends and they all can't be there at the same time but will meet again in a later trip:goodvibes

My sons's first trip to MK... when he was 4... he got on the bus without going to the bathroom first... and "had to go".... he tried to hold it...but he went alright...

Good thing DW carried a change of pants... and the bus driver was cool about it.

Was a little embarrassing,... but hey, we all go through it at some point.

Same with our kids... they met a lot of DISKids... last trip, and had a fun time with each...
