Morning gents....

Its been a few weeks since I've posted, but I had to check in today to tell you all that we're flying out tomorrow for our big WDW hootenanny! Its been 10 years since I've been to the resort, and needless to say I'm a little wired right now :hyper:

We fly from Salt Lake to Minneapolis, then Orlando... so I'm hoping the weather cooperates. Looks like lousy weather in Minneapolis, but it doesn't seem to be affecting air travel.

Headed to Universal Fri-Sat, then DCL (Dream) from Sunday - Thurs, then WDW (POP) from Thurs - Mon.

Thanks for all the advice you've provided as we've prepped for this trip - your input has been invaluable! :worship:

OK. I'm starting to get a little irked at Disney. First they suspend the release of the Star Wars 3D movies indefinitely. Now they are pulling The Clone Wars off Cartoon Network. I get both moves but to do these back to back, it seems like they are trying to alienate the diehards who were already leery of the merger to begin with.

OK, I admit I've been out of the loop lately. What'd I miss?:confused3 The movies I get. When did they announce the Clone Wars being taken off? Are they planning to put them on their own channels? DS will not be happy. Do tell.

It is a tough to coach when the game is like that and according to DW, the other coach was being a tool. Hey, don't schedule games that you know will be out of your league!

I have only been a bit freaked out once when flying. We were landing and it was very windy. I can still remember watching out the window and seeing that the wings weren't level and my side was pointing toward the ground. The pilot leveled out just before landing.

Agreed with the coaching issue. There are only so many things you can do with younger kids and scoring. We had some of those situations when DS was younger. Are you supposed to tell your kids not to play defense? I will tell my players that all have to touch the ball or a certain number of passes before shooting, but how embarrassing would it be to spread the floor and take 10 minutes off the clock when everyone knows it. Sounds like the opponent was a poorly coached team. Really.

We had a flight like that entering Aruba for our honeymoon. Thought there was no way we were landing. It was windy and we were all over the place. :faint: Maybe not a window seat next time.

Have fun storming the castle!

Sat night I'm going to a Gift Auction, I know for sure that they have a 4 pack of 1 day WDW Hopper passes (you know I'm going for that one:thumbsup2) the other BIG prizes are a 42inch flat screen (not putting in for that) and a Kayak (I'm putting in for this although I will not use it, I can find a buyer for it quick so it would be a money making venture, got to finance these auctions somehow:thumbsup2)

Good luck getting the passes. How do you find all these auctions? I have heard of people hitting the weekend yard sales all the time. Gift auctions seem to be a little more effort than throwing crap in your driveway and hoping someone likes it.:lmao:

Again with the Leafs. Argh

OK, how about them Bruins! Only loss so far this year was in OT. Won 2 games in penalty shoot out and leading the East. With the shortened season we'll be in the playoffs soon.:cool1:

Stupid Canadiens.:rotfl2::rotfl2: Sorry, had to say it.

Just needed to vent for a bit. Got a request from our PR rep saying Rep. So-and-So wants a map showing our project, where the new road will be, how it will affect the surrounding properties, preferably on an aerial photograph. Could I please provide that?

It's taking all my self-control not to write back, "You mean like the one on the project website you operate?":faint::headache:

Good News was that the dryer repair guy made it to the house today. Bad news is that one or both of the circuit boards are dead and need replacing. He'll be back next tuesday. Another week without the dryer.

At least tomorrow I don't have to hang around the house waiting for anyone to show up. I think it's time to go buy my running shoes.

I think the only way I'll make this work is if I run either really late at night (11pm) or really early in the morning (5 or 6am). Anyone ever run really late at night??? I wonder if I'll be stopped by the police? :lmao:

Make sure you wear all black with a hood. While running, keep looking back. No way they'll stop you then.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

The only problem I find with running at night is you can't sleep after. It usually takes me an hour or two to settle down. I either run in the morning or before 8.

Do it!!!!! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

I sent the links to the drawings in a nice tactful way. She responded by saying she's not sure the Rep. will have time to click through the drawings, so maybe she could stop by and get a set of plans from me? :confused3

Maybe I need an informal poll of you guys to see how long it takes on average for you guys to click web links. Seriously? He doesn't have time?:furious:

That's fine. Have him stop by and bring him to his website. Then copy and paste the drawing into a doc and print it for him.

I learned something new too...

Did you know that Sleep aid's like Nytol, Sleep-Eze, and Unisom are all the same active ingredient?

It's called diphenhydramine hydrochloride

That is ALSO the identical active ingredient as Benadryl!

They are the exact SAME medicine.

Benadryl is generally a 25 mg dosage, and the Sleep Aids are generally 50 mg.

I have started taking a double dose of childrens liquid benadryl a while back......plus a lunesta :rotfl2:

On the now infamous flight (inour house at least) from London to Toronto...I got worried when the pilot came on and said we were diverting to Iceland for problems of unkown origin...the flight attendants started freaking out running up and down the isle in a panic...Shari had a dream before we left that we crashed in the ocean and I told her she was crazy. Eventhough some of her dreams have panned out in the past. I looked at her and told her that we were going to be ok and she snapped back that no we were not :lmao: I kept thinking wht it was going to feel like to die and figured id find out any minute now. Shari sat praying for them to get the plane fixed. I had already given up and was praying for it to be just quick and painless:rotfl2: After about 45 minutes of total mayhem on the plane the pilot got things under control and we went on to Toronto. The flight attendants broke out the alcohol at about 9am and was giving everyone freebies..as much as the wanted compliments of Air Canada :confused3 I looked at the lady and told her thanks but no thanks and that we had 7 hours left on the flight and that I was not wanting to bust the pearly gates open at 700 miles an hour with alcohol on my breath!:rotfl2:
