It has been a great day here! Last night when we got home the kids were wired up....I am a bad parent...I slipped them some benadryl so Santa could come They slept until 830 this morning....We got all the gifts unwrapped before I was called in for the first time today. left work went to MOm and Dads and then called in again...now back home for the evening and hoping that the phone does not ring anymore!!! I am truly blessed!

Evening Guys,

We made it through part two and three. Part two of the day at the in-laws was good, even sister-in-law was good. Of course, she did manage to leave a few price tags on some gifts.

Part three was a quite evening at home with DW's parents, aunt, and a couple of good friends. We made some finger foods and some seafood chowder and had a nice evening.

Part four is tomorrow with our Christmas dinner, being held on boxing day this year.

i hope everyone had a nice christmas. looong story, my oldest brother has been going through some ruff times with my sister-in-law. she herself has been having some ruff times of her own. well, last night she decided she no longer wanted to be married any longer. they have no children, they are both 60ish and have been married for 20 years. my brother is heart broken but maybe a bit relieved. the saddest part, he spent christmas today in a hotel by himself. we (his other brothers and sister) all live here in pa with in a few minutes of each other and he lives in north carolina.
knowing my brother spent christmas alone kills me......
hes fine..... he has a few things to take care of and then hes heading home (here in pa) where he belongs!!!!
is it jan 1st 2013 yet???????

I'm a proud father this morning. DS's favorite present so far has been the $5 monorail car that we picked up art Disney World. Trying to figure out why we spent so much money on other things.

That always seems the way here as well. We have been playing Disney Apples to Apples all day! Favorite gift for both kids. Not the new $400 camera, iPod Nano's or any of the high priced stuff. Enjoy the simple times. You have raised him well.

Got to save Christmas for my son this morning, My son got a few of the new Skylanders from Santa (OK more like all of them) Well anyway we have been having trouble with the TV in the living room and needless to say it is no longer working, so now my son want's to play the game, after almost going into a crying fit, I went out to the garage and grabbed the TV in the Mancave and set it up in the living room, son's eye's lit up like a little kid on Christmas Day, Oh wait he is a little kid and it is Christmas Day (now I know how they got that saying)

My Inlaws gave us GC's to get a new TV but the earliest would be tomorrow, so it seems the ManCave has proven to my DW that is a useful place after all

Now all this is going on while I'm trying to watch the Disney parade in the bedroom, I really wanted to see the whole parade from start to finish, but then again as a Dad if I can put out a fire getting ready to happen it was well worth it, and actually having the item needed on a day when everything is closed is the icing on the cake

Congrats on the save. And I hope a new and improved TV for the man cave!

Bless his heart...will certainly be praying for him. Having a family member far away and in turmoil is hard on everyone....Glad he is coming home!!

Sorry to hear about your brother and his situation, especially at this time of the year. At least he can take comfort that he has a great family and you are all behind him. Prayers from us. Hope all works out.
