Morning guys.

well its bedtime. this is the latest i have been awake in a long time. just an update, briana passed her stress test and we have her problem narrowed down. her heart is fine.
we got our check for tammys totaled car. made out well. now i just have to drive to ohio and buy a ford from an honest disdad. i may need directions scott.
oldest brothers wife is doing well.
second oldest brothers knee replacement went well and he is doing well. walking with a cane. hes back to being his old crabby self so i feel alot better.
still waiting on the auto body shop to fix brianas car from her fender bender in november. its a small shop and they are busy. hes been doing our work for 30 years.
all three of our jobs is going well. tammys office is getting some what back to normal, most of the new yorkers are gone and in a temp office in jersey city. we are busy swiiching people over to gas from oil heat.
so all in all, things are looking up and hopefully i can get back on here more and knock norm off that top spot.
have a great christmas if i dont get back on before then!!!!! and one last thing, dont forget to huge your kids today!!!!!

Zerf, glad things are beginning to fall in place. Wishing you guys a Merry (and stress free) Christmas.

The Pirate Princess arrived last night and actually figured out the right place to wait for me. I was late because they closed the main drag to the airport for construction and had a really long and obscure detour.

This morning she picks up her IB certificate and then lunch with a couple of friends. We pick out and decorate our tree this afternoon. Hope everyone has a great day.

We all start on Friday. School closed until January 7th for teachers and 9th for students. I am closing our office on Friday as well and we will be closed for 2 weeks.

The kid just called. Finished the last test of her first semester. She feels pretty good on how it went. Flight leaves around 8:00 and arrives in Miami at 11:30. Then nearly a month of R&R.

Congrats on being one more semester closer to financial freedom! I'm sure the next payment is just about due. Have fun spending some family time with DD.

goooood afternoon!!! i figured i stop in. life has just been crazy!!! work, the season, health issues (hopefully we are getting close) new car shopping!!!
after shopping for a new car, i have a new business outlook. "oh, dont look at that price, thats the manufactures msrp, this sticker is the dealer msrp." we only charge you $2500 more then man. msrp for paper work and paint sealer..... paint sealer? ........ another word for wax....... its a brand new car, it came out of the factory and needs a $500 wax job already??? di you know the new car dealer has figured out how to maintain a multi million dollar facility, gobs of employees on just selling cars for $150 profit??? i asked the last sales lad if he had a mirror. why he asked. so i can wipe the big S off my forehead.

That's why I buy "gently used" cars used. usually coming off lease agreements after a couple of years. Besides the lower price and easier dealings, most of those brand new car stresses are already gone.

You guys have been dealing with the wrong dealership!

That's some old school "selling" (read ripping people off) stuff right there!

Watching the Niagara Falls Red Bull Crashed Ice Championship. This stuff is fun to watch!

I saw it as well.... not the finals... but it was entertaining.

It's downhill ice skate racing on a bobsled track!

We've watched this before. Those guys are crazy. I can't even imagine downhill ice skating at 30-40 mph. I'm lucky I can skate on the flat pond at this point. It's a lot of fun to watch though.

Good morning gentlemen.

I'm letting the kids sleep in for another 20 minutes then a busy day gets kicked off. Swimming lessons at the Y. DS's speech therapy and then buying food for Christmas. Last week the therapist took both kids in and worked with them together because part of DS's problem is he has trouble getting a word in cause his sister talks to fast. The best line I heard coming out of the room was. "Stop. Both of you need to speak with words I can understand too."

Good evening fellow dads, hope all is good, we just got done opening some Christmas presents (since my brother will be in Vermont for Christmas this year) and Disney was represented, DD got the Disney edition of headbands, and I got the 15 disc POTC box set in an awesome treasure chest

I just went to my plumber's house to see if he could come over tomorrow to fix a leak in the basement, I still have some old metal pipes and they are breaking down, was having him come over next month anyway to replace them, luckily he's a friend of mine

Sour head candy as a medical cure? You better hurry up before Norm decides it's a good business venture and he can patent it's use and charges you 10 times as much for a prescription.

Vacation already? Is this public school? I know my nephew is out already, but he goes to a private catholic school and Christmas is a big holiday. We have to go through Friday. Had to basically force DS to school this morning. He had the stomach virus that I had over the weekend the last couple of days and had no intentions of getting up for school. Hopefully he makes the full day.
