I thought you needed an annual pass or DVC to get TiW? At least that's what I remember. Unfortunately I have neither.:sad2:

Nope. Those get you the card cheaper, but you can still purchase without it. TiW is $100 for AP & DVC members, maybe $125 or $150 without? For $100, it is $500 worth of food to "break even", and then 20% off from each meal going forward.

Bought mine using Disney gift cards purchased at Target at a 5% discount. Walked in with 14 $50 cards and the lady at the Disney Store said, "You know that you can just pay cash or buy a larger valued gift card here, right?". Why, yes I do, but that wouldn't save me 5%, now would it?
.

That is a good plan. And, Did you get reward points on your gift card purchases?

Gentlemen, harvest 2013 has begun in Central Indiana. Past couple of days at work have been insane. The corn on our farm is still a bit too wet to get into it, but everybody is trying to take advantage of the fact that prices are still for 2012 crop corn and it is worth about $1.50 more than the 2013 all fall price.

Try not to work too hard, as you don't need any injuries before Fantasy football season starts. You may hurt your finger making line up changes on your smartphone.

Negative Ghost Rider - Used the Target Red Card (which is linked to checking account). Wish I could figure out a way to get the Chase Rewards as well.

Probably not.:guilty: I wonder if they even know how much this is going on. It seems like so many people on the boards are doing this and I would think someone would figure it out. I guess 5% to get you to spend your money at Disney is worth it to them.

It also amazes me the guys who are now saying "Oh $#!t" and finally hauling out the last of their 2012 corn. I mean, talk about missing the boat. You've only had about 10 months to move about 1/3 of the volume you'd normally have and you're just now getting around to it and freaking out because you can't get it moved before the price drops??? Don't blame me. :furious:

In other news, DS had his first day of preschool this morning. DW is bringing him to meet me for lunch this afternoon so he can tell me about it. :thumbsup2

Don't work to hard. I hope DS had a good start. Don't forget to remind him he only has 21 years to go.:rolleyes1

Page One Updated! :thumbsup2

You owe me a Dole Whip.

At least one. I figure by now I may need to buy you the machine so you can do it at home.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'll have to check the offer dates on the code we are using. I could be convinced to show up a couple of days early. :thumbsup2

or

You could just stay an extra day.:scratchin

Awesome Dad time right there :thumbsup2

I passed a couple of big farm vehicles on a local county road this morning. I wondered what they were doing out.

No, just the one from our Superbowl bet.

Well I was there waiting for you a last week, but you never showed up.:rotfl2::rotfl2: Hopefully in January. Still working on the schedule for around that time. I need to be in Orlando already for at least a few days and I'm trying to see where it fits in. They haven't announced the dates yet even though I ask them every few days.

Or you could relax for the weekend and enjoy a few more days of peace and magic!:lmao::lmao: I don't have our offer and I know that the date is right around our check in date, I'll call them when I get a chance. :thumbsup2 My kids would be so upset if we had to stay a couple of extra days.:lmao::lmao:

My wife would be upset, too. She's already pushing for 10 days since we'll be celebrating out 10th anniversay on this trip.....

I didn't know if Target would let you buy the gift card with the Chase Visa card.

:

Target isn't losing money on the deal, or they wouldn't be offering it.

I think most wives would be upset if they were pushing for 10 days... :scared1:

;)

There has to be an emoticon for this one as well.

Do not Ask, Tell! :yoda:

1) No, I was talking about Disney. I'm sure the discount is taken from their revenue. They are happy to give you the 5% to get your $$ now.:thumbsup2 Kind of like the bounce backs. They'll give you a nice discount to secure your presence for the next trip.

2) I'm sure there is, but no one dares post it. Some of the wives have been known to pop in here and there.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Do not Ask, Tell! :yoda:

I fear that if I tell, they'll say OK. When I get there I'll find myself at some sort of women's health seminar instead of our industry event.

:wave2: Andy...

Sounds like a good year.

First day of preschool is always an exciting time. :thumbsup2

Since we are now home study approved we can start selling coffee from "Just Love Coffee Roasters". Here is a link to our store:

https://justlovecoffee.com/nicelyfamilyadoption

They have k-cups as well for all of you Keurig owners :thumbsup2

It crashed on the iPad so I'll check it out later on the PC. Did they have Dunkin Donuts coffee?

Kinda like DVC. Disney isn't losing money on that either. But, I never considered it an investment. Just a way of vacationing at WDW once a year at nicer resorts.

Today was inventory:scared1:, after having off 3 weeks of this period, I was quite surprised that I hit the target mark, seems like I was the only one to hit the mark :confused3, Hopefully I will not have to go to any inventory meetings:rolleyes1
