Good morning Dads! Have great Friday and weekend.

Morning guys.

First day of Kindergarten for DD today... Pretty sure she was just 2 years old a week or so ago... How did we get here again?:confused3
Congrats and enjoy every bit of it. It is tough as they grow up so dang fast but enjoy it all :yay:
3 more hours today. Heading out at 11 for a charity golf tournament.:cool1::cool1: Our softball league awards scholarships to graduating seniors at our high school. All proceeds from the tournament are used for the scholarships.

I know, it's tough to be me.....Did I mention I'm golfing on Monday afternoon as well with clients. :thumbsup2
Gotta luv the customer golf / charity events also hope todays event raises a ton :thumbsup2
Then they hit tween years and you're ready to throw them out of the house. :lmao:

Yeehaw! Just booked the Beach Club April 6-11, 2014? That will be all the DVC resorts at WDW except VGF.
Then after the tween & teen years you get to "throw 'em out" to college and wish they were starting kindergarten again.

Big congrats on the BC snag - we will miss you by about 2 -1/2 weeks.

Randall, if you can see the screen thru the tear drops, would you please update page 1? Thanks. :lmao:

Page One Updated! :thumbsup2

Since we are now home study approved we can start selling coffee from "Just Love Coffee Roasters". Here is a link to our store:

https://justlovecoffee.com/nicelyfamilyadoption

They have k-cups as well for all of you Keurig owners :thumbsup2

OK, since I'm not a regular coffee drinker I could use a little direction here. I'd like to try some of the K-cups for my house (something bold perhaps?) and maybe a couple as gifts for the parents. Who can tell me the difference between the different coffees here?

Gift Auction season is coming up soon, and it looks like now we are on a whole different level, had a women that I know from the store come up to me and was telling me when a bunch of them were, then invited us to join their group table (around 14 in the group), guess we have made a impression and they want to bring some luck to the table:confused3:rotfl2:, I guess that would make me a Gift Auction King since 95% of the people at them are women:thumbsup2:scratchin:rolleyes1

You see, this sounds like an opportunity to charge for an appearance fee. :lmao:

Good morning all, another day in paradise, or New Jersey at least. In 28 days, one hour and 22 minutes we will begin the trip to WDW. Just working on the list for the tool bag and other roadtrip necessities. Can't come a moment two soon.

So how did it go?
Well, it depends which part. Preschool went well, but lunch didn't. He fell asleep in the car on the way over and all he wanted to do was lay down in the booth at lunch. Anytime I tried to talk to him or interact with him I got the death stare. :confused3 :lmao:

Sad day today. My 2000, Chrysler 300 has gone to the big scrap heap in the sky. Donated it to Make a Wish.

Same here Paul. And mine is a Sophomore in college.

But the costs go significantly higher when you send them to college.

Nice grab. I have HH, SS and VGF still on my Disney list. Those and AoA.

Looks like I'll be missing you by a day. We check into BLT on 4/12 to 4/19.

Randall - could you add my trip to page 1?

Thanks!

:

The darker the roast, the stronger the coffee. Coffee from Ethiopia is some of the best. If parents are used to drinking regular store bought coffee I would suggest a medium or light roast. Those are not as strong. If you drink standard Starbucks (I would consider that strong) then I would go with a dark roast.

Sorry to hear about the car, but a tax deduction is a nice way to go. I would like to do every resort, not just DVC at WDW, but that won't happen. I'd also like to go VGC & Aulani, which might be more likely.

!

On those new BLT points too. Great get.

Wow! That's awesome! Congrats on the DVC pin set... VGF is the completer, I think :lmao:

Thanks. I'm trying to plan that one as well. I'm hoping for an October 2014 split stay at VGF & Vero Beach. But, October is a difficult time to get 7 month DVC resorts. I might have to wait for Spring Break 2016 or later.

holy cow what a beat down that was last night.THe bad news is I was going against manning in one game. The good news the Ratbirds are ins LAST place !!!!!

If you were a real fan, you would trade away Ray Rice on your Fantasy team. I'll be happy to take him off your hands.

Thanks. And, yes, there are those moments now that I want her to stay young forever.

Still don't have a pro state team, so they are not champions of my world.

Check. The Gurgling Suitcase beckons.

Thanks for the thoughts/words guys. Took lunch off to go see her get on the bus for the first time (she has the afternoon kindergarten class). She was thrilled, mom and DS weren't as excited, but for different reasons... One wanted to get on too, the other couldn't believe how old our little princess was. I'll let you guess who was who...

It's the little things. Life is good today. ;)

We arrive on Sat, Oct 5. We're doing MNSSHP on Sun, MK on Tuesday, and Epcot on Thursday. The other days, we'll be at the pool, resort, restaurant, or DTD.

Congrats. While I certainly don't have the wisdom of most here, I know that each step my girls take out the door towards more independence is both a difficult and necessary part of life. Part of our jobs as dads is to prepare them for life when we can't be there.

We'll get down there Sat morning, do some running around, then crash for a while in the afternoon and then do dinner. I think we'll be at MK on sunday, water park on monday, don't know after that. We can make contact on saturday and get together in the bar at some point.

Sounds good. The schedule for that Saturday is an ADR for Olivia's breakfast at 8:00 AM. After that, we'll hit DTD to pick up the TiW card and will go to church sometime that night. There's plenty of time for drinkin'

Well said sir :thumbsup2 You have the wisdom just maybe not the years as some of us have :rotfl2:
