Friday-eve ownage.

Thanks for the well wishes. DW just finished with the surgeon. She's feeling less pain this morning than yesterday so they kind of wonder if maybe she passed a kidney stone?

The surgeon was the first to mention that possibility. Even though the blood work kind of ruled out an appendix issue, he said her appendix is definitely enlarged, nearly twice the normal size. He said since she wasn't in a lot of pain this morning and it didn't hurt when he squeezed there, he doesn't recommend doing surgery right now, but if the sharp pain comes back or she's still feeling discomfort after a few days he wants to see her again.

Prayers for the family. Hate it that everyone is sick.

Couldn't sleep so I decided to make blueberry scones. While waiting for them to finish baking I decided to clean the kitchen's windows. What the he11? Going to eat the fruits of my labor now. .

Yes, it is up and rolling well. I tried to slow it down, but when it close to another car, the engine somehow accelerated and blew by them. The novelty needs to wear off before i get a ticket.

Hi guys... Just about to crash. Lots of construction delays and a slow border crossing so we didn't get as far as we hoped a out an hour or so off, so not too bad. West Virginia seems to be a hotspot, took us a couple of hours to find a place to stay, but it is nice and comfy and clean. We're at Sutton-Flatwoods WV

Been following you on FB, you've been quite busy it looks like. How're you doing?

I am beat. We start everyday with a meeting around 8 - 8:30 am and I usually get back to the hotel around 10:30 pm. Really looking forward to getting home. On the plus side, the teams I have been working with have had some very good results so that gives me some bragging rights on our mission staff.

West Virginia seems to be a hotspot, took us a couple of hours to find a place to stay, but it is nice and comfy and clean. We're at Sutton-Flatwoods WV

I get to use my last half day of vacation! My anniversary at work is next week, so I will get two more on Tuesday. I will use those up when we make a trip to the land of Pierogi's, kielbasa, and polka!

Monday was rough lol DDs first day of school was harder on me then her.

Hope everyone's doing good, only 5 more days will Disney Infinity, can't wait! Only thing better if if I had 5 days till we were going to the World!

We just checked and our kids don't go back until September 6th now. It was supposed to be the 3rd up until a change last week. I could have had free dining if I had know to book it a little later. The late start means we'll be going to school until July after the snow days.

Okay...car is loaded, for the amount we have, it looks really good. Almost two years of planning is about to go into motion. Only thing left is to wake the girls, have breakfast, and stop at the bank. Hope to be having lunch in Pennsylvania somewhere.
Any posts here or FB will depend on wifi, I'm not going to kill us with roaming charges, what we get in minutes/data on our plan is to keep in touch with family, but I am sure once we're down I can check in here.
We planned 3 days for driving, usually stopping around 6pm-ish for the day unless we want to push a bit, I forsee a lot of rest stops . The route we are taking is I79-I77-I95. Look for a black Journey with Disney decals etc on the back, Ontario plates.

Everyone take care of themselves and stay safe. Look forward to see Jim and Cliff, and I'll keep my eye out for Carl as well. Very pumped about this trip, moreso then any of the others.

Left the good off intentionally. We've got all kinds of peanut butter and Beverly going on around here. DS is still sick. Test results came back that he has croup (although he hasn't coughed or struggled to breathe once). He's still fighting a fever and acting sluggish. DD has had a fever for a couple of days, but she's acting fine. We think it is just one of her typical fevers she has as she gets new teeth in. And to top all of that off, DW went to the Dr. yesterday with some abdominal pain. They did some bloodwork, a CT scan and she's had a Dr. appointment this morning and they still aren't sure what is going on. The family Dr. just sent her to see a surgeon to see if he can diagnose anything. Right now they've got about 4 potential problems showing up, but can't figure out what the exact cause is... so fun times around here.

Hey Andy. Sorry to hear about the family illness. Prayers for everyone for a speedy recovery, especially DW.
