Enjoy the afternoon and you can keep the rain. We have finally had 3 days of dry weather and don't want more. You had also better shut the door, you are letting all the cold air out. We set a record low for the date.

It's cool here too, a nice repreive from the heat, and really nice not to need to run the air conditioning.

Rain was spotty till around 4 then it really opened up. We needed the rain here anyways, it was looking like it was going to start to dry up a bit.

Morning guys :surfweb: getting ready to read at Mass this morning.

I saw there were quite a few injuries yesterday at training camps. Which brings me to this: are we doing fantasy football again this year? I would love to help another team win the gold through my injury ridden selections :rotfl2:

Morning folks, we're just getting set to head to the zoo today, going to go in for their version of "EMH" for members to try and beat the crowds to see the Giant Pandas. Hope to see Brian there.

Staycation II started out good, although we were out running around longer then we wanted to. Picked up some stuff for the girls for the car trip in Mastermind Toys and Toys are us, and stocked up on groceries.

Couldn't get my preferred fireworks viewing, all booked up already, BUT found Wishes in the FP+ options, so went that route, it's in the same area anyways. Not really sold on the FP+ deal, but at least I don't need to join the herd running to Toy Story Mania. :rolleyes1 I confirmed that I will be getting the Magic Bands, and that my customizations took, it'll be sent to my resort, not shipped to me. Very interesting to see how this works, as well as the FP+

Have a good one Dads!

I got an email about our MFL Team draft and keeper cuts for some time in August.

I like the early morning zoo hours as well. Still cool outside' and they have just fed the animals right when it opens so they are eating or active from just having finished.

As for the FP+, part of me is excited. There are several rides/ attractions I would like to do repeatedly during the trip. But, I also don't like backtracking thru the park all day long, as it means I walk more and am missing stuf for the extra walking (same reason I don't like park hoppers). Now, if I have an ADR somewhere, and want to ride something before it, then than sounds like a good idea. If I can get a good seat for "Wishes", then that sounds good.

I just definitely don't want to wear those stupid bands.

Good morning Dads. Feels more like September than July. I'm heading north to the "vacation":headache: home to mow the lawn and work on a few projects today. SWMBO and I will then head further north to visit relations and get the offspring back from the in-laws. Fortunately, or unfortunately, my parents and in-laws live about 15 minutes from each other so we see a lot of both when we are up there. Somebody always ends up offended that we haven't spent enough time with them though. :sad2:

Was that an email for our Disdads league?

Morning guys.

Spent 12 hours working a fundraiser yesterday for the charity we run. I spent the last 6 hours over the BBQ but I did get to watch 6 soccer games. Weather wasn't the best but at least it didn't rain. We had 4 or 5 inches here on Friday.

G'morning all. Back from our beach vacation. After 7 days of eating REALLY well, there's no food in the house. :(

I know that feeling. Our parents live about 10 minutes from each other, but 1.5 hours from us.

It was nice to miss the crowds. Not looking forward to the bands either, I don't even wear my watch at the parks. I do though like the idea of a few fast passes I don't have to scramble for, in other words TSM and Soarin'

But, the good news is that they live really far away from you the rest of the time". My inlaws live nearby, and since BIL is a deadbeat, they call DW for everything and she jumps to take care of them. We've spent over $1000 on the both of them so far this year on food, driving to doctors, birthday presents, etc.

Yes. July 13. Check the spam folder.

I'll probably do one for TSM, because I would much prefer to ride the new Star Tours as opposed to TSM. However, Soarin is still one of my faves, so I will go there first, ride the ride, grab a FP, ride the Land, and head over to the Imaginarium or Seas until Soarin FP return time. Then, ride the Living with the Land again. Those are my two favorites at Epcot.

So did you get to meet him??? :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Again, it was great to finally meet face to face, and yes... I will admit to the world, what I said in a text this morning.

You're idea of getting there for the members early entrance completely initialed my idea of sauntering in with the rest of the crowd.
Brent's wait to see the Pandas - 45 seconds
Brian's wait to see the Panada - About an hour

Brent 1 - Brian 0

:thumbsup2

Oh yeah, I did get a screen grab of that. :rotfl2: Sometimes the EMH is the way to go. We haven't been there on a summmer Sunday in a long tome, forgot how the crowds can be like. Even our hike down the hill to the Canadian Domain there were a lot of people, and no one ever goes down there (only way out is back up a ridiculous hill)

It was great to finally meet up with you and the kids. The only way we could have made it better was to do it at the Penguin Exhibit :rolleyes1

How did the rest of the day go? We made our way up/down Canada then through Africa back to entrance. By then we were pooped so took a spin around on the Zoomobile then headed home.

Great Cinderella's Kiss! You're Taller than Brian, Brent, and he's Tall!

Good morning gentlemen. Got up early to change reservations for the free dinning rumor. Looks like everyone booked and Disney pulled the offer. :headache:
Work and family kept me crazy busy last week. I'll try getting caught up this morning. If I don't happy birthday to those I missed, congrats and condolences as needed. Bacon for all.

DW and DD had "Mommy/Daughter Day" at the Mall of America. (Dad was glorified pack mule.) They did manicures and pedicures. DD got her ears pierced. She did great but one already fell out and she refuses to let us put it back in. We also hit up the American Girls Store for Christmas ideas. :scared1: I thought Disney was good at getting money from my wallet. We also went to the Disney Store. Kid shirts for $8 and adult for $12. :woohoo:

Have a good week everyone.
