Evening Guys,

we have some wicked weather going through here tonight. Apparently we have something called a super cell over us right now and we have have not stop thunder and lightning for about the past 2 hours. I took my team off the soccer pitch about 6:30 when we first noticed the lightning.

Here is a picture that was taken a little while later at another field that is across the river from where we were.

Reminds me of one of the scenes from Independence Day.

Good parenting right there.

Hey guys, we were busy getting an ultrasound on the baby yesterday so I wasn't on the computer much. Good news: baby is very healthy and definitely a human being.

We do know the gender, but I'm sworn to secrecy.
Congrats.

Couple more pictures from last night.

The first was taken by a friend near the soccer field that we were practicing on.

The second was taken in a city on the other side of the Province.
Scary. Glad you're alright

DS taught us a new saying last night and I was wondering if it would be inappropriate to use as a quote in my work email signature; what do you think?

"Friendship is like peeing on your pants, everyone can see it but only you can feel the warmth."

Julie is trusting you with a secret again??? She apparently likes living dangerously. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Go figure. I was all for not finding out at all (in keeping with the Surprise! theme), but she really wanted to know. So if we didn't find out, I would have had to hear about it for the next 4.5 months.

Good to hear about the baby...both being healthy and human. ;)

You can never be too careful.

Sharknado is exactly the same thing DS said.

:thumbsup2 I like your DS already.

Glad everything is going well and having a human child is always good sign that DW is not an alien.

Certain times of the month make you wonder sometimes. :rolleyes1

Was I right?

Actually, you--wait, I see what you did there. Those subtle tricks won't work on me.

+1:thumbsup2

He said he was sworn to secrecy. There you go trying to get him in trouble.

::yes::

Not sure I'd use it at work, but then again I work for an organization that has no discernible sense of humor.

Wow... those are some pretty impressive weather pictures in the last couple pages. Sadly for me, even though the weather in my area is usually pretty crappy... it never actually looks cool.

Not if you wear dark pants.

Omigod, just got a call from our contact out in Fort Lost-in-the-woods (Leonard Wood). Asking questions about a program we killed back in 2002 or so. Why won't these programs die, I'm not Victor Frankenstein. Maybe i need to put in an application to Disney sooner than later.

Because of thing called the free taxpayer credit card.

Glad to hear all is well with the next Eagle fan; well, at least until the next losing season.

It would get resounding laughs here, but I wouldn't use my workplace as a standard. You may want to save that one for the tag fairy.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Thursday afternoon ownage!

Well you do live in PA.:confused3 YOur kind of in the middle of the extreme weather patterns. Come on up here. We get some pretty good storms in October along with the leaves changing.

Hey Norm. Wasn't it about this time that the little crustacean guys were supposed to start the long migration trek to KY?:lmao::lmao:

OK guys. Thinking about buying the Nikon 1 V2 camera. Anyone have any experience with the camera or reviews you would like to share? The main reason is my SLR is too big and heavy to carry around everywhere. The 1 is pretty light and compact.

Scary weather pics. Don't get caught in it, or you might feel the warmth of Friendship.

“Afternoon all…

I believe that the applicable word here is CRUD…
I’ve missed much… most certainly a quarter ton of bacon pics and a birthday or twelve.
Life got in the way of Dis. Couldn’t be helped but I’ll try to check in a bit more often.

Congrats as deserved, HBDs where earned and prayers in general (‘cause we all need prayers).

But this right here…

That is funny.

Norm - well done on the "dark pants" line as well

Only a few more days away from 180 day booking window and we are targetting mostly things we have not done yet / or ate at. If anyone has any quick pros / cons on Tommorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party or the Keys to the Kingdom Tour it would be greatly appreciated.

As I am preparing all the information to attempt a trip report, I just finished comparing our OOP dining to what the cost of the dining plan would have cost us. I know there are 700 threads on it, just thought I would post.

It cost us exactly $401.27 each to eat for the entire 7 nights and 8 days. I deducted any meals not eaten on property and during travel to and from. Pretty sure we would have spent that regardless.

The cost of the standard DP would be $389.13 each as my children are now adults in Disney's eyes. ( I explained that to both of them and they just laughed)

That would be a huge difference of $12.14 per person that would have been saved. For that $12.14 we got to eat where we wanted without scheduling meals the full week. We had one character meal and 6 other table service meals. The remaining meals were either CS or we just grabbed something small because we were not that hungry. So basically it was basically a break even for us either way.

Our next trip included FD and after comparing room discounts (assuming mod.), we will save $$ by not paying for the food and having it included so will keep the FD bounce back offer. Now to decide if POFQ is still the chosen resort or if we will change. I only have until July to figure it out so I better get going.:goodvibes

Keys to the Kingdom was excellent, but we had a great CM that was really knowledgable and seemed to enjoy giving the tour. I have heard mixed reviews based on the CM. The only negative I can think of is that you spend a lot of time not hitting those rides while on the tour. The pro is you get to see a lot of pretty cool things on the tour.

The fireworks party we have not done yet, we do plan to do it in August 2014 so I would be interested in your opinion when you get back.

We always say that you have to start Eagles fans young, before they know any better.
