It's like a new version of the Christmas Story lamp. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Just FYI, I would never talk bad about AoA , but unless you have a car, the LM rooms are a good walk to the buses and lobby, I'm glad we went and it was DDs first trip but if you have to carry any kids, it's a lonnnng walk lol

Good to know! I was going to ask if anyone had any tips or suggestions!

Thanks

We had a blast at AoA, it's a great resort and very fun, DD had a great time but my back didn't from carrying DD after a long day at the parks :)

Good morning guys. Playing catch up here this morning. The IT guy showed up at the office yesterday morning with a new PC for me, so I didn't get much time to slack off. I'm happy to have the upgrade though. I had a laptop that was 5 years old and didn't have near enough RAM to run everything it had to run. I love the fact that I can click on something and I see results rather than an hour glass. :thumbsup2

Last day at work before vacation. I really hope I can get out of here early this afternoon. The plan is to try to leave work early, if possible, and head home and go straight to bed. My alarm will be set for 9:45 pm so I can wake up and we can hopefully be on the road by 10 or 10:30.:cool1::yay::woohoo:

I can assure you that very little "work" will be done at this desk today. :rolleyes1

That so totally rocks! (.....wait for it.... DUDE! :cool2:)

....makes me excited for our excursion in February. Looking forward to your trip report. :yay:

Good luck getting any sleep tonight. :hyper:

Have a great trip!

DD5 update....they did some tests that ruled out some really bad stuff....so now we have another test to schedule an MRI to see if they can see if it's anything to be concerned about.

Overall a good day - but still uncertainty remains.
Good to hear they've ruled the bad stuff out. Hang in there, our thoughts are with you.

Ruling out bad stuff sounds good. Hope you continue to get good news.

Based on my experience with the many transplants I’ve encountered down this way…
It’s the phonetic spelling for the word as I keep hearing it pronounced.
I take it that the pronunciation is different up in the Maritimes then?

Actually I like this explanation better…

Oh I get it now, it is making fun of the way the word is perceived to be pronounced in Canada. Understandable, I mean the enunciation abilities of people in Mass and SC are certainly to be the model for the rest of the English speaking world.

Y’all have not yet begun to properly mangle the language
(it takes someone form the UK to really do that ;) ).

Feel free to attack my South’rn dialect. I’ve been ridiculed for my speech for five decades now. You might say, I’m use to it.

I believe that also qualifies me as a master of mispronunciation (at least I’m a master of something :lmao: ). Having that distinction… I see it as an obligation to point out where those that see themselves as better then I might just possibly also find themselves out of compliance with the ridged confines of the “Queen’s English”.

Actually you need to work a little harder if you want to compete with us at mis-enunciation That long “O” y’all sprinkle through out the discourse is just about the only way to tell if someone is actually from Canada in the first place.
:rolleyes1

As for the folks in New England… They can fight their own battles.
Historically, they’ve proven themselves to be rather good at that.

I have never had a problem understanding people from the South, people from Boston on the other hand....

I'm just going to stay out of this geographic dispute, even though we all know the midwest is where all the normal people who don't speak with accents live. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Precisely… y’all sound just like Canadians.
So long and you avoid words spelt with an “ou”, we’d never know the difference.
:lmao:

Nice job of staying out it, by the way. ;)

Now hush up and get yourself down to Disney.
Then you got a TR that needs writin’

I'm so ready to get out of here... I feel like I've chugged about 12 Red Bulls, but I haven't touched any caffeine all day.

I'm just waiting for our bidsheet to come in the e-mail... no reason it shouldn't be out yet, but she usually doesn't get it out until about 4. As soon as I get it, I'll record my VM message and get the Beverly out of here.
