Guess who made reservations at the AoA for June 8th - 16th of 2013? This guy!

I need some magic right now, getting really feed up at work. Streaming WDW audio during my commute and at work doesnt seem to be working at this point.

Good morning guys. Playing catch up here this morning. The IT guy showed up at the office yesterday morning with a new PC for me, so I didn't get much time to slack off. I'm happy to have the upgrade though. I had a laptop that was 5 years old and didn't have near enough RAM to run everything it had to run. I love the fact that I can click on something and I see results rather than an hour glass.


Last day at work before vacation. I really hope I can get out of here early this afternoon. The plan is to try to leave work early, if possible, and head home and go straight to bed. My alarm will be set for 9:45 pm so I can wake up and we can hopefully be on the road by 10 or 10:30.

I can assure you that very little "work" will be done at this desk today.

El pulpo! I got his autograph in Baltimore a few years ago. Before the game a bunch of Cubs fans were around the dugout before the game and were asking for his autograph. He ignored all of them until my wife asked in Spanish. See kids? Language can be fun!

Tonight we were at a preschool function for the kids. There was a karate class going on in the same building. DS watched for a bit and liked it. We are thinking of signing him up for it next session. Is four a good age to start or is it a bit too young?

Depends on how intense the classes are, but that's a pretty good age to start them in a good karate program. They usually have good programs for the younger kids, and most respond really well to the lessons (discipline, focus, respect, etc.) they teach with it.

4 should be fine. It really teached self discipline and focus, as well as, excercise and energy burn. If he ends up enjoying it, karate provides a lot of self confidence too.

Based on my experience with the many transplants I’ve encountered down this way…
It’s the phonetic spelling for the word as I keep hearing it pronounced.
I take it that the pronunciation is different up in the Maritimes then?

Half day for me today. 1 hour left. :cool1

DS travel hoops season starts this weekend. Excited to get it going.

DD had 8 points, 7 steals and 14 rebounds (of course at least 9 or them were off her misses) last night as we were victorious in her hoop game. Grade 3/4 girls is absolutely fun to watch. Where else can you get a rebound and head to the other end of the court (without dribbling) like Arian Foster heading tothe endzone.

Safe travels to all of the Dads heading to DW. Prayers for those in need and happy Friday to all.
