Well, having seen what you willingly subject yourself to, it is clear that your absolutely nuts. :crazy2::

Certifiably. ::yes::

I should add, now that I've joined this board, that I was so incoherant by the end of the race that I really thought those wires hanging down were really strips of bacon. And... you know... no brainer. :faint:

You seem like you should fit in well around here. :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

I'm feeling that way! :upsidedow

I had no idea what to expect, to be honest... it scared the crap out of me - but I figured it was the last obstacle in the race, so by that point I'd be so happy the rest was behind me, I'd run through, get a couple of shocks, and you know... "no big whoop" :confused3

This isn't me... but 0:07 is a good indicator of pretty much what happened:

Why would anyone subject themselves to this type of torture? I'm still asking myself that question... but hey, at least I got a sweet orange headband out of it! :cool2:

Ouch. I can hear the arcing. I grew up on a dairy farm with electric fences and that brought back lots of memories about standing in a wet, muddy pasture and trying to open a fence.

ZAP.

Ouch G** D*** IT!

Just sitting here in the room at CSR with a sleeping baby while the girls are at DTD. We have tickets for the MVMCP tonight- the party is sold out. I hope it isn't a mad house. :scared1:

I guess being in a packed MK is better than being home where a foot of snow fell 2 nights ago. ::yes::

Have fun, and when you see Randall, you'd better tell him we're gonna need a new thread.

He is in MK right now. He texted me a while back. I hope it doesn't try to take me out to give Team Freezin Monkey an advantage. :rolleyes2

Finished up a reference for a co-worker and on to grant reporting. What a way to spend a warm, sunny Friday afternoon.:crazy2: I would hate to see her go, but working on grant funding is for the young or those with no responsibilities.

Ray - A drop of golden sun???

Sorry, couldn't help myself.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

That's it, get into the spirit!

I love that joke!

It's so versatile. I usually think it's funnier than the person I'm telling it to, though. :confused3

I can tell you why. Because deer are stupid.

Glad no one got hurt.

::yes:: Unfortunately, they're stupid and very big.

And thanks. That definitely could have been worse.

Repair bill? Let the insurance people take care of it. Hopefully the deer had insurance.

That's the plan! Unfortunately, the deer did not have insurance, so I had to go after any assets he could liquidate. Venison, anyone?

You haven't seen Tonya Harding there, have you?:confused3

Nice Simpsons quotage there, Cap'n !:thumbsup2 :happytv:

+1:thumbsup2

Oh, like Carl tried to do with the golf cart? :drive:

Besides, Team Freezin Monkey already has an advantage. Me. :thumbsup2

I wonder if as a kid, did you learn the hard way about what happens when you pee on the electric fence?

Never done the MVMCP, but at the MNSSHP, they have the parade, fireworks, and a 2nd parade. A lot of people leave after the fireworks and the 2nd parade is less crowded. Hope it isn't too bad or there is something like that.

Good afternoon fellow dads, welcome to the new guy, been off the grid most of today, trying to help my mom plan this commando Disney trip ( no complaints) as she flip flops on which weekend and what hotel, which its a trip to WDW so again no complaints just more gray hairs haha

Yup, definitely better in DW. Most of the snow should be melted by the time you get back. They are talking 60's this weekend. Enjoy the party tonight. Wish I was going with you.:thumbsup2

Had a fish sandwich with fries. And a couple beers. ;)

More importantly, met up with Jim. Great guy, had an awesome conversation. Nice to finally have another disdad up in this area! Pic to follow. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Agreed. It was a good time. Had the chicken club. Paul is a great guy no matter what you guys say about him. :rotfl2::rotfl2: Looks like the Northeast chapter is getting bigger. :rolleyes1

Hey Philip.:wave2:

What time frame are you looking at (I'm sure you mentioned it, but I'm not going to look for it)? Hope the planning goes well.

Lol well she's talking first weekend in dec (new fantasyland opening) yikes! Or the following weekend, still packed or the first weekend in jan (DDs 5th bday) seeing how packed MK will be the first 2 weekends are I'm trying to get her to choose the jan weekend or go later but she really wants to do the Christmas party also (so do I) but not sure if the crowds are going to be worth it for a 2 day trip, what are y'all's thoughts?

Afternoon Gentlemen!

Sitting in the hotel room after the last presenter of the day failed to show up at the session I was attending at the Sport Leadership Conference. It was the one presentation I was really looking forward to. One more day and I can head home.

I hear there is a new guy, Welcome!

And I see some posts talking about pictures of some lady that people like to look at but I haven't figured out who they are talking about yet.
