Pumpkins all carved up and gutted. Mom's roasting the seeds now. Just waiting to see if I'm on pick-up duty for the girls or not, traffic pending.

Walked in to a table full or cakes, cookies, crispie squares and assorted goodies...I love Halloween at this place. :thumbsup2

Getting ready for a party. Don't really care about halloween but friends are throwing one and I feel obligated. Going as a bum with a sign that says, "Daughter goes to a private school, Will work for tuition." No pictures will be made available.

Plan on leaving a bucket of candy out with a please just take two note. Don't expect it to last more than couple of kids coming by.

Happy Halloween everyone. May your kids get lots of candy and you get to steal the best ones.

Pictures or it didn't happen isn't a law, but I think there should be a penalty assigned to the non-poster at the next meet. Extra Dole Whips all around?

SWMBO raided the good stuff quick. I was running one of the carnival games at church tonight and pulled out the dark chocolate miniature candies because kids don't like those.:rolleyes1

Can't really Trick-or-Treat around our house so we go to the old neighborhood. Seems to drop off a bit every year, both in how many houses are open and how many trick-or-treaters there are. Not a bad haul though...

Office Halloween party is today. I had my Dread Pirate Roberts costume all ready to go, but had to call an audible at the last minute based on recent events.

OK. Finally finished with passing out the candy and friends headed home. We must have had 500 kids tonight. Most of my neighbors ran out of candy by 7PM. They were like the herds of zombies from Walking Dead. 20-30 at a time. It was crazy.:confused3 We live in a really good neighborhood for trick or treating and all of the towns around us postponed until Saturday due to the storm. I think they all decided to go tonight here.

Happy Halloween to all the Dads, even you CJ. May your chocolate not melt in the hot Miami sun.

Awesome. DD's 10th birthday was today. No school today but trick or treating was allowed despite the storm. Biggest crowds I've seen in town. Was a blast!

Just for my Canadian friends I am listening to some Hank Snow while working, er...posting, going back to working.

Well, Happy Birthday to your daughter! Must be fun with a Halloween birthday. My DD's birthday is Oct. 8th and Halloween is definitely her favorite holiday.

Correct, but the question posed to me was whether or not I could complete a half marathon in under 12 parsecs, we weren't discussing the Kessel Run. ;)

Yeah, good point. :scared:

Tis true and I knew the parsec issue. However methinks the word was misused in SW:ANH

Hope you're well on the east coast

Greedo had a gun pointed at Han, and Greedo was monologuing. Either reason is justification to shoot first.

Amen!

You put it that way, maybe Boston is a better place to live. I feel like this is headed to a remake of Christmas Vacation. Which one of you is Cousin Eddy?

My nemie is so cousin eddy

A friend I grew up with has his Birthday on Halloween. He's also allergic to chocolate. I wonder if those two things are related.

Back home, kids passed out, candy all sorted out...

Evening Guys.

Just back from trick or treating with DS and his friend. It was pretty quiet out there.

How are things where you are (if you can get out and trick or treat)?

It was very damp and rainy, but we got out. We went in a large group, both us and my brother, SIL and nieces, had a good haul. When we got out around 6:30-6:45, only one other kid out, but as we went, lots more came out.. Parents went through almost all they bought (and they always buy a fair amount). Impressive, since they toned down the house a lot more then usual (weather, plus dad's chemo limited what they decorated).

Just for my Canadian friends I am listening to some Hank Snow while working, er...posting, going back to working.

I remember listening to some Hank Snow growing up...I pull the Christmas CD out during the season (hmmm starts pretty soon here)

Hello all, hope you are all having a good night. On the over night again. Hope you all had a great Halloween.

As long as you are going to be up keeping an eye on things I'm calling it a night. When I wake up I fully expect there to be Christmas music on the radio.:headache:

Looks like the sugar high has finally worn off DS. I'm off to bed. Goodnight gents.
I think so too, but they've covered the mistake well in hindsight...;)
They did such a good job of covering it that they've used it as a plot element in at least a half dozen different series.

Greedo had a gun pointed at Han, and Greedo was monologuing. Either reason is justification to shoot first.
My boy will know that Han shot first. Of all the modifications that have been made, that is by far the most egregious.

My nemie is so cousin eddy
Now I've gotta watch that movie to see if I'm being insulted.

No worries, I figure to give it a few days before I start that up :rolleyes1

Norm can help you empty the crapper :lmao:
