Just scraped by us today but a lot of people lost power. Tomorrow we get the back end of the storm and they are saying it will be worse. I lost power for about 15 minutes and one of the cable outlets does not work.

Nothing compared to what may to happen in the NE. Told the kid to stock up on drinks and food/snacks.

Does she have room for the extras with all the beer and party supplies in her room?

I kinda felt like Barry from Storage Wars tonight with "Would You Look At That" when I checked the park hours for our Nov trip, they were lacking at the MK to say the least with park closing at 7 or 8, well today the hours were changed to 10 on 2 days, and till 1am 3days, and of course 12 on MVMCP, I gained a whole day of touring

Jealous.

Mattingly will not make the HOF so I doubt his cards will ever be worth too much.

Evening guys...kinda messed up today, cleaned out and organized our premium lock-up showcaes tonight, made it look good, but did not take into account the dust in it, and now can barely breathe again. I think this confirms I have a bad dust allergy, next step is to get some puffers. At least I know it'll clear up in a few days, just need to take it easy, pretty short of breath...

I'm pretty sure Barry is no longer afraid of vehicles. Since he learned that he has magic truck invincibility, he can now jaywalk with reckless abandon with no thought of being run over by that truck.

Proud Disney dad here. Have 2 DD's 6 and 18mo and they are both very much into all things Disney. Heading down to BLT (our first trip as DVC members) in jan '13. Will be my oldest's second trip and my youngest's first. Really looking forward to it.

Harvest 2012 is officially over!

It has been a year for the record books, but not in a good way. I hope this year is one that will just become a story passed on to future generations like 1934. Considering we broke records set that year for heat and lack of rainfall, I truly hope we never see a year like this again. It is over and behind us now, so we'll get ready for next year and do it all over again.

Sorry for the poor yields. But like any Cubs fan will tell you: just wait till next year.

Took yesterday off, and what a great decision it was. End of October, 75° and sunny most of the day. Took Ryder on nice walk down to Lake Michigan, then I put him in his jumper on the back deck while I did yard work.

Got a 15K race tomorrow morning in Milwaukee on the lakefront. Temps should be just above freezing by the time we start.

Running is fun.

I have a bunch of friends who are planning on running the Marine Corps Marathon in D.C. on Sunday. So not only are they running a marathon, but they could be doing it in a hurricane.
