Afternoon guys. Everyone has been talkative the last couple of days. Happy birthdays and anniversaries and prayers to those who need them. DD has had a bad cough for the last few days. She sounds like she's been smoking a pack a day. This cold damp weather isn't helping much. Just taking it easy.

I realy need to figure out how to multi quate on the app.
Well it happen again DW came home crying at 10:30, her director pulled in another director and she was written up for the interactions with her subordinates yesterday.
On a positive note she has two interview next week one from an App she put in yesterday and one from a recruiter. Maybe this can be resolved before we leave for WDW. I don't want to deal with this on vacation, we already operate on a thin line when we travel together.

It sounds to me she needs to file her own complaint.

I hope her interviews go well.

On behalf of the arena vendors and workers, the people who work for the day-to-day things for the NHL, all other people who's income depends on there being hockey I ask this:


Is Bettman still being paid during this lockout? If so, why?

Best of luck to her with the job search. It can be frustrating, but it sounds like she's got some solid interest pretty quickly, which is terrific.

Bettman and fehr are not getting paid during the lockout, but that doesn't mean Bettmans not overpaid anyways

Also an update on my post from yesterday, my mom brought up again about using up her expiring southwest tickets for us to take a long weekend trip to WDW at some point before march so I prob won't need to use my tickets yay!!!!!

Yeah I'd we could swing the lost of income I would be all in and very supportive but till that day comes or the cupcakes can substitute enough income she has to work. It's sad but true.

I see stories all the time of people who start these types of businesses at home on a small scale. They bake in the house and sell the stuff at small or convenience type stores and when they build it up open a storefront with some existing customers. I know that's how Wicked Whoopie Pies started. Encourage her to try to look into it.

Is there someone above her boss or in HR that she can talk to? This sounds like something that borders on unacceptable work environment. Just a suggestion to see what options are available. I know I make sure all or our employees at least feel they are being treated with respect and dignity. Please wish your DW my best wishes that things get better and good luck with the interviews!
