Don't let DW control your hair length.

A happy wife doesn't necessarily = a happy life, but I guarantee an unhappy wife = an unhappy life.

Evening Gents

DS had his first BBall game of the season tonight and it finished with a loss for them. He is only one of 3 returning players and for the rest this is the first time playing above rec ball. Unfortunately, they still played like it was rec ball Oh well, lots of time to learn.

To top it off when we got home the dog took off into the woods. It took about 30 minutes of looking only to have her walk back out.

Too bad about the ball game, but it is young team. Glad you got the dog back.

But, you're able to post here, which is the real important thing.

I had campus IT reset my password and I'm still locked out so just sent it on to the chair. Let him figure it out. I found out a month ago that I wasn't even listed with the department when I went to check a vehicle from the motor pool. Probably could have avoided this for another two years if I hadn't tried to do the right thing.

...
Maybe ill check back in after a few of these.... Finishing up with long island #1

:crazy2: Where is the puking smilie when you want it?

There you go getting all logical and ruining the fun. :worried:

I do live in a snow belt and we usually have more snow and ice, last year was the exception. We had snow on Halloween and then almost nothing all year. I think we live in a trough or something. Usually we have snow and if I drive 5-10 miles in any direction, there is a lot less of it. :santa:

Try to stay dry! I'll have to research on Mississauga so I can come up with some better material.:thumbsup2

Barely any last year, no snow days taken. We escape a lot of bad winter weather due to where we are on Lake Ontario. Hamilton to the west where my brother is gets hit hard, south in Niagara/Buffalo, east of us at Whitby/Oshawa, and to the north (Brian, how is it where you are?) depends where you go, Barrie etc gets hit hard too.

Misissauga is just a big freaking suburb of 600000 people, not much exciting. We have the world's ugliest buildings in the "downtown core"

On the plus, we have a Disney Store

So DW came home crying from work at 10:30am to wake me up, apparently the issues with her subordinates hit a fever pitch this mourning and her boss attacked her for over an hour. She took the remainder of the day off. Now we are at a staff meeting and she text to say no one is talking to her and her boss ignored her. DW already has a job interview set up next week, she official hates her job again and wants to leave. She is sick of the insubordination and the lack of her boss backing her up.
So I sit waiting for her to be done and hope I don't have to calm her down again.
Ah drama of working with a bunch of women.
I think I might push her to start her cupcake business for real.

Ugh, bosses are supposed to SUPPORT their staff. I feel for your DW and hope this gets better soon. Work drama sucks....

Morning guys!

Well, Abigail wore her eye patch at school yesterday for the first hour or so while doing here morning work and things went great! The teacher is very supportive and only one of her friends asked about it.:thumbsup2

Hope Fed is having a good time in the world, I may be headed to his neck of Georgia late Nov/Early Dec time frame.... might extend my trip by a day and make a speed run.

We here in North Richmond Hill (Oak Ridges) are right in the middle of the Snow Belt.

We have had times where we've gotten a foot of snow, when Toronto has sun shinning and birds chirping (honestly).

Good news... kids can be rough, glad she's having an easy transition.

:thumbsup2

Good morning guys :thumbsup2

Thank you for all the warm anniversary wishes yesterday!

Anytime, David!

Glad it went well, Matt!

That's some live action post padding. :beach:

Takes one to know one!

Good thing or Toronto may have called in the army.

Can't help you there. Already have my resume in. After all I did manage my daughter's T-ball team.
You're overqualified.

Really?

I'm in Milwaukee every day. I can do quality control as much as she needs.:thumbsup2

Wednesday morning, coffee no spilling ownage.

?

Makes you feel loved. I get stuff routed thru campus mail, which I am not on campus, and sometimes it gets mailed to me. Who really knows? I do have a permanently built in excuse for not receiving assignments.

I could so go for biscuits and gravy

Sean's buying biscuits and gravy. Everyone head to his house.

....

It depends who is school superintendent. We still have a few gravel & dirt roads in our county, so snow days are often called quickly. We had an interim a couple years, and didn't get many because he had kidd in school and didn't want them to go to June.

Good news... kids can be rough, glad she's having an easy transition.

Children seem to be nice enough thru 4th or 5th grade towards each other, although mine have told me about some kids picking on someone in 3rd grade.

Good to hear about the dog's return. As for basketball, it is still early in the season, and hopefully, things will improve. But, it's the same I do for my players with soccer. I want them to win, or at least not lose too badly, but still teach skills and coach for fun should take priority.

We are drinking long island ice teas out of pitchers... We haven't moved one thing yet. We are picking up the trucks in the morning. I hope we can get my boys house packed by the evening so I can meet up with Stopher.

Sounds like a lot of work you accomplished there, which is about how much effort I put in on a daily basis.

We looked at doing citypass while we were out there, but our time was limited and I wanted to spend all my park time at Disney rather than spending a day at sea world and a day at the San Diego Zoo.
.

We have talked about going to Universal and Sea World in WDW each year, but it seems like we never make it. I always say, one of these years. One of these years, we'll go to DL and Aulani, but unless i win the lottery, those combined will be a one time deal. I don't want to make it a cram everything into vacation session and not enjoy any of it.

Sorry to hear that. I know how hard it is to work for someone who doesn't have your back.

Looks like someone crumpled up a couple of paper towel rolls and called it "art".

Sounds like we have another Pirate Princess! :thumbsup2
