And, it's my thread, so I'm allowed to post pad. Then again, all the other threads weren't named after me and I may have post padded a few of those. :teacher:

Nice post!

Wow thanks for sharing that, I saw something about it in the guidebook that is the best deal I've seen

They also sell them online in Canada at Costco.ca - and they are about $15 cheaper...

I don't think Costco.com has them.

Quoting yourself now? Haha it really is your thread, soo I'm not accused of post padding by King Norm ;) , after winning the rd trip tickets on the silent auction I have to decide on if I should use them to take a long weekend trip to WDW before they expire ( new fantasyland trip) or pay an extra 100 to extend the expiration and use them for next years oct DL trip, what do you guys think?

Transportation and lodging are some big prices. I didn't know you could use WDW tickets, even with no expiration, at DL.

Post padding is something

Yes it is.

no.... he flys out next monday and has i few days training and getting to find his way around first and should be guest side the following monday or tuesday...you need to start looking out for him....he is called stewart

Now, you know the WDW name tag trick, right? Every WDW CM must be wearing a name tag when on duty at all times. But, if they forget theirs, they can borrow someone elses.

In that one post Philip was referencing.

The tickets are southwest flights not park tickets and they fly anywhere southwest flys but they have a June 30 2013 expiration so choosing between using them for a quick WDW getaway or pay 100 extra and extend the expiration for another year

So DW came home crying from work at 10:30am to wake me up, apparently the issues with her subordinates hit a fever pitch this mourning and her boss attacked her for over an hour. She took the remainder of the day off. Now we are at a staff meeting and she text to say no one is talking to her and her boss ignored her. DW already has a job interview set up next week, she official hates her job again and wants to leave. She is sick of the insubordination and the lack of her boss backing her up.
So I sit waiting for her to be done and hope I don't have to calm her down again.
Ah drama of working with a bunch of women.
I think I might push her to start her cupcake business for real.

I didn't know that about plane tickets to LAX.

I must be falling behind, well I have a few less distraction now maybe I can play closer attention.

When did paying attention become a requirement?

I don't think Costco.com has them.

Another option. Some stores like Target will do a $25 gift card for $20. Then, you could use Disney Visa to buy gift cards to buy then and get Rewards as well.

Sorry to hear that things are rough for your DW now. If she needs a cupcake taster I will offer an unbiased opinion and my mailbox is more reliable than Norm's mailbox.

I know it's weird both are nonstops and I used the same days to check and the lax tickets were about 25 cheaper then the mco each way

That sounds like a great idea, thanks for the tip

Tuesday night ownage.

Ahhhh... I almost had to go through the last 10 threads with a fine tooth comb... :rotfl2:

Really? You would have put that much effort into it.

I get it now. Flying would be great. We always drive since it is cheaper. You have 2 tickets for you and dd? It may be worth a second trip the. If you swing it. Free tickets are great.

Hate to hear that. But, bosses shouldn't be jerks either. I really don't care for much for my coworkers because most are lazy and I tell them so. I don't make a lot of friends, but it is work, not social hour. But, when the wife ain't happy, no one is happy. Good luck.

Thanks, maybe then I can lose some weight. I get to taste them all and sometimes multiple time in the baking process, especially the frosting.

I'm sorry to hear that, when DW is unhappy that's never good, sometimes it's easier said then done but as with anything doing something you enjoy and are happy doing is always better then being somewhere your miserable, but I'm sure everyone knows that.

Well those tix weren't free, I won them in the disdads silent auction but I did get in on a sweet deal and got 2 free rd trip sw tix when I opened a southwest Visa card and spent 1k in 3 months so all I did was a balance transfer from my old credit card and paid it off so technically I have 4 rd trip tix on sw, but also may use the free pts for something else, like with those pts I can get 1 person paid on a Disney cruise in the future etc

That has been my comment all along, it's work. The boss should not be a friend, they are the boss. But DW's boss wants to be friends with her subordinates and sticks up for them, even making comments like "we can't do that, it will make them mad".

Working. Can't leave until the narrative for my evaluation is done. Hot chocolate - check, Youtube - check, DISDads - check. Looks like an opportunity for post padding tonight.
