DW and I will be there, running the ToT as well. Could do a meet there if we can find each other.

Hey we can see what we can do, I know Friday is busy with the Expo and al the stops we have to make to straighten out our APs.

The corrals are set by your estimated pace, not by when you register. They do that in order to make sure you don't have people running over each-other the whole way (if faster runners started after slower runners it could create messes all over the place). If you're really looking to get padding on that 16 min pace, try running some shorter races that you can use as a proof of time (most Disney Races require this to get into a higher corral). I think anything over 6 miles is good enough for them.

Good luck! :thumbsup2

Well then I stand corrected, I thought that would be how they would do it but at Tink it seemed like we passed a lot of people and we were running a 12 min mile pace. and the people around us were registered around the same time. Oh well either way we figured we can do it in a 14 min mile and the worst.

Hope we can find some time to meet. We should be at the expo in the afternoon on Friday, no real plans for the remainder of the weekend.

Check out the picture on my workplaces Intranet Homepage. :thumbsup2

Better to yell at coworkers than dd. Keep up good work.

Sounds painful.

Thanks. Ambiguous just in case someone reads it.

Everything's good so far, a few times of being ansy but so far no co workers have set me over the edge, I've planned a few fun things for me an DD this weekend so hopefully that will help get my mind off it, last night she told me my breath was stinky after having a smoke so that help to motivate me too

It's hard when your nemes work did something so cool as carsland but when all the glitches and ride stoppages are his fault it's easy to loathe him again

It appears as though the honey do list is growing as we speak and new "ideas" for other projects keep coming from swmbo! She has now informed me that she would like to have new carpet in the family room and also new furniture.....what happened to just slapping a coat of pain on things???:rolleyes1

Wow, I wouldn't even wish that on my nemesis (which you are!)

Easiest time to meet might be right before the race, since we'll both be in the same area. I've had most of my DisDad meets before RunDisney events! :lmao:

Well almost done with work for the week. Then off to Eau Claire Wi and maybe the twin cites. Hope to see some old friends and relax for a few days.
Who did you piss off to have to spend time in Eau Claire? :rotfl2:

Oh, and can you tear up the driveway and put in those really cool cobblestone pavers? Thanks dear!

For the 1/2 marathon, you need a qualifying race of at least 10k, which is 6.21371 miles. Roughly.

Got the girls dropped off to their Day Camp...they got invited for a free "End-Of-Summer" Party, which gives me a day off to myself, which I haven;t had all summer. I think a nap is in order. :woohoo:
Next Tuesday would have been the day I had circled on the calendar for about 4 years. DD would be in 2nd grade, DS would be starting kindergarten, and I would be working 4x10 hour days, with on day - everything from 7:43 am to 2:35pm - all to myself. Golf, naps, deep fried food, another nap. Carping the heck out of the Diem.
Then my employer forced everyone back to 5x8 hour days and another DS came along. Oh well, at least I can waste work time on the DIS.

Morning all. Still no resolution to our labor situation. Deadline is tomorrow night. Wish I could say more but it will be an intersting weekend. Tomorrow we will be having a birthday party for my younger DD who turns 2 on Monday. I have 2 more fantasy football drafts on schedule for Sunday. Sure hope I don't get locked in tomorrow night.
Wait a minute - are you an NFL referee?!?!

Yep....it's even more well-deserved because we have to add the extra "u" to Labour Day :lmao:
When I met up with Brian in WDW last week, he showed me the pocket full of "U"s you guys carry around to stick randomly into words.

"Read the full story on Lunch Break". Yeah, right. Kick you feet up at your desk, take the phone off the hook and read away!

Sounds like a plan. We can PM closer to the event and when we are there.

I'm going to search for an officially sanctioned 6.21371 mile race. I will run down the middle of the course the entire time, and not veer off for any reason. Then I can say I ran a 10K, officially.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Unfortunately, you will have to wait a bit longer... DW & I are taking this trip by ourselves and leaving the kids home. I'm sure Juliana won't forgive us for this. We might have to lie and tell her we are going somewhere that isn't fun for kids. :rotfl::rotfl:

My lips are sealed.

Very cool. I agree with Barry on the "Read it on your lunch break" notation. Yea, right. I rode racers when I was in DL and it is a fantastic attraction. Congrats to Siemens for whatever role they played in creating it.

DW wasd channel surfing through the guide last night, and came to the "background channels" our service provides. You know, a beach with sunset, a lake in the woods, an aquarium....well the Aquarium channel now is just one long ad for Finding Nemo 3D. A minute of characters playing in the tank (looking very much like the animations during the end credits) for a minute or so then a trailer...repeat. Funny, but old awfully fast.

Sure does read that way... BUT...actually we have an employee info page called "Lunch Break" :lmao:
