I am confident come January I will hand over my crown!

I can't imagine anyone drinking more, sober. And, I can't imagine anyone keeping it down if not sober.

Im quitting smoking so I need another vice

Planning WDW vacations works. Or, get you and your dd into soccer. I think I spent more time coordinating soccer than I did at work last week.

hello!!! the new place looks good. ( i see the canadian didnt wipe his big, blistered feet again):sad2: pictures of the feet or it didnt happen. :lmao: just post them here, not at the pub.:rotfl:
hope you guys have a good week!
stay safe all you southern dads, we will be praying for you!

Dave. I posted about you a couple pages ago. It was a good post.

Even thought norms my boy, I think there should be an asterisk by Brian's total our bacon padding was like using steroids, I jumped from 10th to 7th so I'd accept a bacon asterisk next to mine too

No asterik needed. The race to the end has been around awhile.

Now that I'm here at the beginning of the thread, I hope I can compete with the big boys and no pun intended :)

Ah another newbie hooked on the game!

Good luck to both of you.

And I'm back in the top 30! :yay:

Unfortunately, I got too excited for Brian's TR and posted my milestone 1,500th post over there. Ah, well.:confused3

My DD got tired of ballet after a year and I've suggested soccer, hockey and gymnastics with no avail yet so maybe next year she will want to do something

I think this is the final tally...

Woohoo, top 5!! Could have been top 4 if not for that meeting. Stupid work!!

I don't wanna see them either.....:crazy2:

They have to be worse than the smell of burnt popcorn permeating through my house right now. popcorn::

You know... most microwaves come with a button called Popcorn to prevent mishaps like that... :rotfl2: :lmao:

Living on the east coast has made this typhoon we are, I believe, still in the middle of fairly tame in our city. I didn't see any damage anywhere on my way to work this morning. Still raining quite a bit, and fairly strong winds...but my umbrella didn't break, so they aren't that strong. Looks like I may continue raining for most of the day. The west coast got hit quite a bit harder, but no casualties yet, so that's good. Lots of school closings on that side of the country.

Good to hear things are relatively fine.

Yay I'm quoting myself, she is taking a cooking class at her daycare that she really enjoys so I'm glad she's found something she likes

My oldest has done dance since she was 3. She has stopped everything else except dance and basketball. Right now, we are paying around $1500 a year with lessons, clothes, shoes, costumes, etc. My youngest quit dance, but plays soccer, softball, basketball, and is trying cross country. I'd like her to just pick a couple activities as well, but will give her a couple more years to decide.

After little league, I played soccer, tennis, and basketball thru school and used to be in decent shape. I wasn't good enough to play for college teams but played pick up games. Once I got married, it was all over. Now, I coach dds in basketball and soccer and keep promising to get back in shape, but I never do.

Stupid work. Always getting in the way of DisBoards time. You should set them straight.

Well I'm going to post a challenge, I will quit smoking and get into shape, you also get into shape and one year (no time table yet) we will do one of the Disney marathons, whatca say?

Is there a Disney marathon when school is not in session? DW said that I cannot go to WDW without her. I'll answer your challenge officially after Wednesday appointment about my ankle and run dates.

I'm going to have to have a talk with the boss. I think I can convince him to see things my way, I know him pretty well.

That's a good question, I think your right, the one my friend ran was in early jan and I think the ToT 10mile is last week in sept, if Disney marathon fails we can do one close to where one of us lives

WHat you guys need is some delicious Trails End popcorn. Made with real canola oil, no trans fats, and only 210 calories a bag! I might know a scout who is selling some...

I guess it makes sense that they do all the rundisney marathons during non peak times of year but still stinks, my DD starts school next year so I'll be bound by her vacations for the next 13 years so I fully understand Norm

Plus can you imagine a marathon in the July/August heat? :rotfl2:

Most start at the buttcrack of dawn so wouldn't be too bad of a start, the finish on the other hand I fully agree

I've never felt guilty about taking kids out of school! But since DS hit 6th grade, they actually miss stuff when they're out... :sad1:

What is the price and how much is shipping to KY. You know my mailbox issues.

I'm ok with pulling them out of school in January. September is hot but the lines are non-existent. Which has the shorter race? Even with a year, I still may not be ready to run. :teacher:
