Home from a long day at the soccer fields. Refereed two games and then coached dd in her game. My team won with ease.

Hi All Just dropping in to say hi. Spent most of the day sanding and staining wood for the MIL room. Oh yeah... she's coming back in a few weeks... gotta finish up the final stuff for the room.

I give all the credit to the players. Always have in any sport. My kids did have an advantage in the way I rotated and kept them not as tired. Plus, the other team turned the ball over on improper throws 4 times.

I don't know whose idea it was to get the sling bag by LowePro for my DSLR but I got it and it worked out like a champ. Just got it tonight packed it all up and love it.

No matter what people tell our healthcare is definitely not free. Taxes taxes taxes! 1.30/ liter for gas, 13 % sales tax, and my taxes at the end of the year. That is just to get started.
(1 gallon is just shy of 4 liters.....for my American friends)

No wonder they want to sell off the remaining crown properties, including us at the LCBO, then they can increase more taxes!

Dinner rush has slowed down, we close at 8 then clean up. Since I showed the prep pics of halibut figured I'd show you the final product.

I just heard that a friend from high school passed away yesterday. He had a 2 year old son and a pregnant wife. Makes you do a lot of thinking.

Actually pretty quiet here as well. We took DS to his first funeral today, our sister-in-law's grandmother passed away a few days ago and today was the service. DW asked him what he thought and it said it was kind of boring.

Sorry for your loss. I get nervous about the subject of death with DD, but kids usually surprise you with how they handle things.

She's 5. The division is labeled U6, so i assume it's for age 5-6? I admit I know very little about soccer. I didn't play any organized soccer at all. I learned more about it while at the sporting goods store getting her uniform then I probably knew before that.

I just hope she has fun.

I have not been in shape for years, but it seems like everything hit worse at once. My back was hurting, my feet were wet, and managed a blister on my toe. I also didn't bring sunscreen, but the sun came out and showed all day, leaving me with a lobster face. Not sure why I continue to do this every season. I'm too old for this ...
