I need to go to GABP one of these days...we have NEVER been to a Reds game!:scared1:

And, the Reds just won 10 in a row and Pirates are playing well. Should be a good game.

Cool....never been in June...

It's not bad. More crowded than October, but better than Spring Break.

Geez, how many nemesis' are you piling up there? Carefull or the universe might call a revolution. :rotfl2:

If he gets overthrown does that mean the Universe is mine then?:confused3

Yeah, that whole Universe thing? He's so full of Beverly his eyes and hair are brown.

Now that I have recovered from my heart attack due to being called an Alabama fan:scared:... I need to clear the air... please note that George is an Auburn fan.

Apologies. Tigers. And, I also notice George refers to himself in the third person. Many opportunities for Seinfeld jokes.

You still beat us in football and we still dominate in basketball.

Of course I think you’re among the more normal folk. But seeing as I’m also convinced that I am the most thoroughly broken and hopelessly out of place person in this here nation, I’m not sure that my pronouncement amounts to much
;)

Hey, you're not as bad off as Brian.

“wasnotafan” is Shawn… but that's about is close as it gets for the regulars
.

But, he is a Sean and not a Shawn.

Note to self: Don't complain about in laws when Norm is around.

Sorry. MIL had just called to schedule time next week to take his kids and my dds shopping, so my dds could watch her buy his kids clothes but not for them. We had argued about and DW finally said no.

Happy Tuesday Gents,

not getting much work done today with the Olympic live streams going on. Luckily more job is sport-related so it is somewhat justified. :)

yep. You gonna go?

Unfortunately, we're all booked up on Saturday. DD has a dance/cheer clinic with the cheerleaders for the local semi-pro football team in the morning, then gets to perform at halftime of the game that night. In between we're meeting some friends in Milwaukee for lunch.
Bummer. I haven't been to a ren fair in years. Do you go just to experience it or do you get all dressed up and/or perform?

Well that explains much

They've reproduced.

. I keep trying to tell DS that raising queen bees would be a good sideline for him to try out but he is just into the honey and hasn't learned yet that an income is necessary in life.

MY oldest has got better since she has her student teacher dance job for income, but with no expenses, still doesn't quite grasp it.

I get dressed up. Sometimes a pirate. Sometimes a jester. Sometimes a squire. I perform once in a while but nothing special or formal.

Just to let you know, all is not fun and games. I did have to work today editing a proposal. Of course I did it at the Holiday Inn's Tiki bar by the pool. Finished, so will celebrate with a Bloody Mary. OK, my life doesn't suck.

It's never too late to change, just have to plan ahead and do it.

Beautiful theory spoiled by ugly reality. I good make a change if my kids didn't mind living in a car and eating out of a dumpster, but at this stage in life it is too late to change until the kids are on their own.

Good Morning fellow Dads, My DM (I assume thats Disney Mom) and I have been talking to my DD4 about pin trading, so we ordered her this years Halloween Lanyard with a few pins and also got a lot of 25 pins so she could pick and choose which she wants to trade, we got them last night and went through them, theres a good mix of ones she wants to keep and trade, I also got a lanyard (Jack Skellington and some NBC pins) so all 25 are not on her lanyard but it cracks me up everytime she wore it last night cuz the lanyard is so big on her and all the pins she rivals Mr. T, shes excited which makes me happy

We bought a lot of 25 from eBay and it looks like we will need to get one more, because we did get some no one wants to trade. I am looking forward to having the kids engage more with the CM's. I need no excuse since I envy them all :thumbsup2

For our trip a couple of weeks ago, since it was a no-parks trip, I didn't bother buy any pins off of eBay in advance... we just took our lanyards with ones from the prior trips that we still wanted to trade, and came home with all new pins! Now the next time we go, we'll need to buy more from eBay - as - at least for now - no one has any pins that they're wanting to get rid of.

We have one of those zipper folders - the really big kind - to store our pins in. All 5 of us have our own section in the book, and it's FULL. After six years of trading, and so many trips - that thing weighs a ton. Not literally, of course, but seriously, it's up to nearly 10 pounds now with hundreds of pins in it. Thankfully most were purchased cheaply on eBay! And everyone has some really cool pins. It's a fun little past-time.

Just don't venture out of the disdad area talking about ebay pins. you will get beat up out there. They get a bit touchy some of them :furious::duck:

I too am guilty of getting ebay pins. I can't tell the difference and I am sure most of the ones I traded for have a very good chance of being reproductions too. But my boys absolutely LOVED trading.

For those of you who use Chase Debit cards, you can switch over to a Disney Chase Debit card at n/c and they have like four designs. you get some cool advantages with it as well :thumbsup2

An amazing tennis match just ended at the Olympics. France (Tsonga) vs Canada (Raonic) in an epic battle. Check it out if you get the chance.

Definitely a very difficult decision, but it can be done. I have made some career changes and will be making another one soon. I will explain for those that are interested soon.
Just saying anything is possible. :goodvibes:
