Correction: today is a MK day... Glad I checked my ADR calendar. Liberty
Tree dinner today, Le Cellier lunch tomorrow.

:lmao: good thing you checked!!

Getting soaked has been a theme in Disney this week!

Tried to meet up with Ron yesterday at Epcot but just could not coordinate the schedules.

I will take any Beverly challenge that anyone wishes to throw down. I tried it for the first time yesterday and...I liked it! I must be one of those people you hear about who drink the stuff. Definitely had a bitter aftertaste, but I had a few cups. My wife and daughter thought it was gross and chucked it after one sip. They could not believe I was standing there drinking the stuff.

Hotel pool, Magic Kingdom then California Grill on the agenda for today. I also hope to make a fantasy pick sometime today. Yesterday, I didn't get to make a pick until late at night.

It's not fair if you enjoy it!!

You guys are all having a great week (despite the rain!). May have to think about a late summer trip in the future...

My own family is at the NJ Shore Boardwalk for the last couple of days. Home today. Hopefully their mother's Staten Island blood didn't taint them too much! I don't think I could take the spray tans...

Wood Badge starts tomorrow! Thanks to those scouters who encouraged me to do this! WIll let you know how it goes

spray tans?? :scared1:

good luck with the badge thing!!

Morning gentlemen. Got two kids with hand, foot, and mouth. Looks like a Disney Junior type day.

ugh.

Well guys we checked out of Saratoga Springs at 11. I am now sitting in my room at Coronado Springs, Cabanas 8A. Room was ready, total transition time...1hr. Thanks for the tip guys this area of the resort is awesome, hey Don I think I see your hammock out there, I might to go enjoy lounging init later! We are getting changed and going to hit the pool is a warm day so far.

First impressions of this resort is that we may have some competition for our fav resort POR.
Talk soon, nick

glad to hear your transition was smooth. Enjoy the hammock and the pool!

Another CRUD day at work...

It is brutal...

I really wonder if we could have got enough dads to have a 4th division though... Maybe a thought for next year. It really is a fun league.

sorry. good news is that the day is almost over.

I missed all the talk about the FFL this year. I would have liked to have gotten in on it.

The Pirate Princess Pirate moved into the dorm this morning. She is in bed now at the hotel taking a nap. At 6:30 she has to be back for a meeting. Then at 12 pm tomorrow for the start of orientation.

This was a well organized operation. They stagger the times to drop your stuff off and move into the room. We were between 8:45 - 10:00.

Each dorm had a staging area where you waited in a parking lot for spots to open up in front of the dorm.

You were then allowed to drive to the dorm and directed to an open spot. The student signs in and gets the key while you unload the stuff on the grass by the car. You then go park.

Lots of volunteers from the Athletic Teams, ROTC, Fraternities, Sororities and other clubs helped the kids move the stuff to their the room.

Music is playing and it was a fun atmosphere for the kids. The Athletic Department was selling season tickets for the Men's Basketball team. Good deal, $100 for the season and includes transportation to the arena. For $10 more you get to go to the tailgate parties for free food and drinks.

And they give out Class of 2016 T-Shirts. (I have no idea what she is doing in this picture)

We unpacked everything and made the bed. Ta-Da!

We got there about 8:30 and were done with everything by 11:00. Andriana has yet to meet her roommate. Her stuff was already there and she was gone before we got there.

They are having welcoming parties over the weekend. Grilled cheese tonight, pizza tomorrow and sundaes on Saturday.

All and all a pretty easy move in. Liked that others did the work so I didn't have to.

It is a pretty campus. Most everything faces or is near a main quad. Lots of greenery. I'll post some pics of the campus later.

Must be better than yours. Most people don't have to wait in a line for POTC. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Wow. No students yet and they already have the crime scene tape up. That can't be a good sign.

I think the only difference between that and my dorm room is the color of the linoleum. :rotfl2:

Glad everything went smoothly!

I'm glad you got the Pirate Princess successfully moved in. Brings back memories from when I did that 12 years ago.

I can't believe it has been that long.

Very cool pics. Hope she has a good time and learns a thing or two. Have a safe trip back.

glad everything went well getting her settled in, and in case anyone's wondering I have nothing new to report just a typical day

Aer you sure that's standard, or were they all there just to "help" the new co-eds? :lmao:

Sundaes on Saturday? Does that mean she gets a case of the Mondays on Sunday?

Seriously, glad everything went well and that she's all ready to start her dilligent studies.

I just finished up my DD's Kindergarten orientation.

It's amazing how the elementary building that I went to as a kid, still SMELLS the same! All the memories of going to school there came rushing back!

And it's extremely hard to believe that I have a child old enough to be going there already. Where has the time gone?

My DD will be in K next year and unless we move between now and then she will go to the same school I did, kind of freaks me out
