This is a big factor on our decision to drive down next year, rather then fly. (Part the reason we were anxious about the car). We last drove down in 2003, and I loved the experience, mind you we didn't have kids yet. We are giving ourselves an extra driving day though, I don't drive, so DW gotta do it alone, and we'll need a few extra stops for bathroom breaks for the girls and for them to run around a bit.
DW won't drive. So it's all on me if we do it. DD handled the ride fairly well, with the only exception being that she would suddenly blurt out that she needed to go to the bathroom, badly!! Seriously, kid? you can't give me more warning?? There was one instance where we didn't make it.
DS was another story. He didn't like being couped up, so stopping to let him get out and run around a bit was necessary.
If they would all sleep in the car, I'd consider driving at night. But unfortunately, DW doesn't seem to be able to sleep in the car.
So, as long as the extra time it takes to drive doesn't take away from our time at WDW, then driving is something we'll consider. Our next trip will probably be short and hopefully we can get good airfare.
6 hours of work for me (5 if I bug my boss enough and she kicks me out early

), then I'm heading home, packing the van up, and driving back to the airport. I say back because I'm literally right next door to the airport right now.
Did the online check-in for Southwest last night. Since we've got the baby, we can do the family boarding between the A and B boarding groups. But I thought I'd try to get a jump on it and get a little higher in the A group. I hit "check in" at
exactly 6:15 - and we got boarding positions A 59& 60 and B 1 & 2. Right where we would have been anyway.
Did online check in for our flight down and I was hitting the button at exactly the right time as well, and got A41. Not too much better than family boarding.
Came into work this morning... No phones no internet, one of my computers isn't working and our security alarm keeps randomly going off.
How long until 5 O'clock?
from right now, about 5 hours and 35 minutes. (for me.)
And shes right. That is the one exception.
Oh, and while youre there
try the Pineapple Macadamia Pancakes (trust me on this one).
DW had those pancakes. She loved them. I tried a bite. Not bad, but I'm not big on nuts.
I had the tonga toast. It lived up to the hype.
Someone's just a LITTLE excited! I had to remove some of those icons just to reply!! hahaha!
me too!
So I've decided to undertake a project. It'll be an ongoing thing, hopefully. I've decide to do sort of a video blog. I've had an account on
YouTube for more than six years, but I only have one video uploaded. I plan on rectifying that with videos on life in Korea. I hope to show off some of the culture, the area around me, and what raising twins is like in a multiracial family. Not sure yet how often I'll be uploading videos, but I hope to make it a regular thing. Just don't expect good quality...
Sounds interesting!! I am slowly starting to get my vacation stuff uploaded. (Not that anyone wants to see it.)
Just catching up after a few days away. Took some time with the kids before they go back to school.
Safe travels to all those on thier way to the world.
I REALLY need information on the DDC plans. It's a valid reason to go. Right guys? Wife can't possible disagree with that could she?
Golfed with Evan(12) and dad(64) yesterday. Evan beat dad (woo-hoo for E!

). Shouldn't it be against the rules to beat your grandfather until you are at least 18? Don't think dad wants to golf with us anymore.
Have a great day to all!
tough one... let the kids win, or let the grandparents win... either way, one thing is certain, you will be the loser!
