You heading out today or tomorrow Brian?
BigTikiDaddy said:This is a big factor on our decision to drive down next year, rather then fly. (Part the reason we were anxious about the car). We last drove down in 2003, and I loved the experience, mind you we didn't have kids yet. We are giving ourselves an extra driving day though, I don't drive, so DW gotta do it alone, and we'll need a few extra stops for bathroom breaks for the girls and for them to run around a bit.
Have a safe drive in the final stretch!

Dude, you were five miles form my house.
You didn’t say that your were coming that far south or that it was via I-77.
I could have brought you some donuts for the trip or better yet…
have escorted y’all to the best barbeque ribs in the area.
Marco’s is pretty good though.
Y’all have fun down there at Disney, ya’ hear.

Free wifi rocks!,
Just checked in to ASMu! Kiddos and wife are settling in and we are getting ready for dinner, no sure where yet. We did on line check in at home, there is a separate line for this and was very quick. Waited about 5-7 minutes to get a CM, one person in front of me. Got to a CM and room and package were ready, just showed ID and I was done! About 3 minutes!!

Well, if the washing machine wasn't dead... I just finished it off!! time to start looking for a new one. In the meantime, I guess I'll be heading to the laundromat.
I'm sorry. You guys are just too darn loud.
We drove when the kids were 6 and 4....
They were very well behaved, we brought lots of activities, colouring books, snacks, and movies (portable DVD players).
He reason we didn't drive again is.... It is a long drive for only one driver. DW does not drive.
So does that mean the bad news is... she will be back next summer?![]()
Came into work this morning... No phones no internet, one of my computers isn't working and our security alarm keeps randomly going off.
How long until 5 O'clock?
So I've decided to undertake a project. It'll be an ongoing thing, hopefully. I've decide to do sort of a video blog. I've had an account on YouTube for more than six years, but I only have one video uploaded. I plan on rectifying that with videos on life in Korea. I hope to show off some of the culture, the area around me, and what raising twins is like in a multiracial family. Not sure yet how often I'll be uploading videos, but I hope to make it a regular thing. Just don't expect good quality...

DW had those pancakes. She loved them. I tried a bite. Not bad, but I'm not big on nuts.
I had the tonga toast. It lived up to the hype.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere...![]()
First thing to come to my mind. It's currently in the store's music playlist so I hear it daily
DW won't drive. So it's all on me if we do it. DD handled the ride fairly well, with the only exception being that she would suddenly blurt out that she needed to go to the bathroom, badly!! Seriously, kid? you can't give me more warning?? There was one instance where we didn't make it.
DS was another story. He didn't like being couped up, so stopping to let him get out and run around a bit was necessary.
If they would all sleep in the car, I'd consider driving at night. But unfortunately, DW doesn't seem to be able to sleep in the car.
So, as long as the extra time it takes to drive doesn't take away from our time at WDW, then driving is something we'll consider. Our next trip will probably be short and hopefully we can get good airfare.

Untill recently, the girls have been barely able to handle the three hours to Sarnia, Audrey in particular, but over the past year they are startimmg to settle down. We will have the portable DVD players for them, some simple car games etc. Maybe not the colouring books etc, Amelia used to get carsick, she couldn't handle a DS in the car, but we might see if she's improved. I will no doubt get the girls involved in my favorite car game, the Roadkill Game! (Basicly, we chart the roadill we come across, yep....fun AND educational!) It boggles the mind to think on the way to Disney we encountered 125 dead deer alone!I'm stoked for it, We'll go 77-95 going down again.
We are flying out of Rochester NY tomorrow evening.

We are in building 8 which is kinda far from the main lobby, but we will see how the buses and all goes.
We split it in two, I drove the entire way, my wife does drive but I didn't find it all that bad. If you split in 3, it's about 7-8 hrs a day, no bad at all
We prefer the three day split. I want to take n the scenery, I love the countryside. Get on the road early, lunch, gas/rest stops stop just before it gets dark, dinner and sleep.
It's sleepover tonite. Thankfully, only one kid. She is better behaved then my own children.![]()
Should we have the extraction team on standby?

Just checking in after another crazy day getting the Pirate Pain in the Gluteus Maximus for school. We leave Monday morning and are just now getting a lot of the things she will need. Hasn't even started sorting her clothes, let alone wash and pack them. She is on her own now. Monday morning we are leaving and if she doesn't have it in the car by then, she will do without. Told her I don't want to hear, "I forgot to pack this so can I get it here?" NOPE.
Relaxation tonight is watching the Phins play Carolina. Looks like another long season for the fish. 17-0 end of the fist.
Checked another piece off our cruise list for March. We purchased tickets down, flying from Portland Maine to Melbourne Fl. First time in to this airport now we just need to find a flight back.
