Dinner over. Man that chicken was good. Publix has a line of goods called Greenwise. Natural/organic/recycled paper products they sell. I recently discovered that one of them is a natural wood charcoal. Fantastic. Produces a great smoke taste. Plenty here for leftovers if anyone is interested.

Fat and happy. Enjoying a vodka tonic and a nap is in order in my near future.

My nemesis(he who should not be named) and I got into it during Fantasy Football. It turns out we have a ton of things in common so we just naturally became nemeses.

Don't worry, when the time comes, you'll find a nemesis. I think they are currently listed on page one.

Speaking of fantasy football. Will that live here or on the other board? I'd like to get in to it this year. I've won my regular league 4 out of the 8 years and am looking to dominate a new league.

We could always live vicariously through the pics....

I prefer doing this to stay cool.

I love playing soccer in the rain....cool, and you can slide tackle from like 20 yards away However, lightening sends Mikey to the truck. I don't deal with it at all. I've been so close to it while fishing that I've had graphite rods start humming and had monofilament line "float" above the water because of static---you know it's time to go then. Central Florida is *NOT* the place to be on the water during a thunderstorm. Unfortunately, many have found this out the hard way

Nor is it on a golf course in Miami holding a three iron.

between now and when we leave for WDW, I am only home sunday night, and the following saturday night for dinner. All other days, only Lunch will be served.

Venom, I meant to comment on yours as well. I like the lime green to represent the DIS and went to zazzle to make some shirts, but I quickly lost interest and didn't't finish the project.

I made a DisDad polo on zazzle, but never pulled the trigger. I wasn't sure if I was allowed to upload the image without permission.

Hated the stroller days. We had the double to the umbrella to none. It was nice to have extra water bottles in them, freeze them the night before, and they thaw out around lunch time, but just hated lugging that thing around. My youngest would get tired and whine for her "stollet" because she couldn't say the R. That part was funny.

yes, such a Beverly. For the price of renting one for the days we'll be there, it was better to just buy one. The hassle is now taking it on the plane, and then the space it will take up in the car along with the luggage.

Too much work for me. If we were on the same boat, I'll just stop by and steal yours.

I would laugh too. Just a shotgun. It would be difficult to aim a gun at 3:00 AM in an emergency at an intruder, by I figure with my shotgun, I just have to get close.

I agree. and although a cannon full of tools and kitchen utensils sounds cool, it's hard to aim. so i'd go with the shotgun too.

I'm not advocating having kids play in the storms. Personally, I never was a big fan of playing in the rain. But, when you can see that the storm has blown over and it is clear where the storm was, you look on the radar and see ther are no more storms, I think it is safe odds that the storm is not going to put itself in reverse. The game was scheduled at 6, we waited to 7, the storm blew over, and finally called at 8:00. The softball field has lights, but no go.

I loved playing in the rain. the messier, the better. As a kid, I had no regard for my own safety though.

You can access weather radar on your phone nowadays. Easy enough to see if anything is on it's way beyond your line of sight.

Stay sepperated for half an hour. If they didn't I would tape them together.


I was gone for two weeks that slowed me down.

I was looking forward to hearing how you taped them, and how much it hurt pulling it off.
