No, we do have the best Children's Museum in the U.S. and the NCAA Hall of Champions!!

You do. I'll be enjoying both August 10-12 for the DCI Finals. The zoo is great too!

Looks great. DW thinks I will love our cruise that I'll book another while there. We will see.

I think DW is right. That's exactly what I did during the first cruise.

All there is to say is that Disney does it best. Need to start the planning for the DDC. We come away from this trip seriously considering DVC once again. I just can't decide whether I should go direct or resale. Thoughts?

I just bought DVC resale and it was a great decision and cheaper than direct buy. Plus I guess I now am neighbors with Norm.

And further, I'm a total noob to the boards and cannot multiquote to save my soul.

DCI! Did you spend time in one of the corps?

I’d love to be able to see that live. One of my son’s goals for this year is to audition for and make the squad of the Carolina Crown for the 2013 season. If he makes it (and I have every confidence that he’s capable of it), then I may finally be forced to make the journey to witness the finals.

Our family babysitter, who now is at UK (go cats), is in his 2nd year in the Colts (Dubuque). He's like family to us so we see him every chance we can. Best of luck to your son and see you in Indy soon.

151 & coke is great if you are late and have to catch up:thumbsup2

My first year in Korea, when I was living in Incheon, a bar I frequented sold 151 & coke for the same price as a regular rum & coke (₩3000 or about $3). I vaguely recall having about 5 or 6 of those one night...

Well, back from our trip. I'm not even going to try and catch up on everything. It was the first long car trip for DDalmost2 and she did very well in the nearly 39 hours (total for both ways combined) of seat time. Should have been closer to 36 but for some pesky Atlanta traffic and beverly detours around Louisville and Nashville.

I am not much on trip reports but I will try to upload a few of my photos in the next couple of days. We only did 2 park days - 1 Epcot and 1 Magic Kingdom. Was able to see the Magic, Memories, and You show for the first time and I was blown away. Very cool, it might be my new favorite show. Service at O'hana was a little off this time. Had to wait a long time for some of the meats (but they were still delicious).

Welcome back!! that's a long drive.

If and when we ever add to our DVC, we'll definitely look at resale before considering direct.

Of all the feature pools, Storm Along Bay is the one that Disney guards most jealously. They actually checked our KTTW cards and issued wristbands to all the guests that were approved to be on site when we were last there.
:scared:

It’s worth asking though. I hope that you can work around the restrictions.

Hopefully my family won't be too upset if they can't enjoy SAB. They can still join us at Beaches and Cream, though!

I think that means one of 2 things.

A: He's not going International, because he's already been International.

B: He's going International, but it won't be International anymore once he gets there.

Actually, make that one of 3 things...

C: He's carrying out an investigation in the World Showcase.

:rotfl2:

The nice thing booking onboard was the perks and being able to transfer those to a different cruise than the one I booked. (Dec 19, 2013). It cost me $145.00 and I can modify/change that date until October 2013 (which will be happening)

hmm... i am very intrigued.

I should post us telling DD.... :coffee:

I should clarify that this was not a trip reveal. DD already knows all about the trip. She just didn't know she was getting a phone call from Mickey.

I was going to wait to show anyone this video until I started my mini cruise report on my PTR but I'll show you guys cuz I like ya. :rotfl:

Click on the picture to see Juliana's reaction to finding out we were going on a Disney cruise! Ghetto taping... sorry, I just recored this off the TV. :crazy2:

Nice!! She's adorable! Thanks for sharing this!

I wish I lived in the real Canada.

silly, nobody actually lives in Canada. They go home when the park closes and come back the next morning.

The only one we have yet to stay at. I would like to try the SAB. But, now that we own at BWV, it is not as pressing. But, then I could claim to stay at all DVC AT WDW, so it might be worth trying.

Hmmm... I just imagined a super split-stay trip where you spend at least one night at every DVC resort... DW would never go for it though. :rotfl2:

I really like the gold better. It's what I grew up on. That and 151.

This could explain a few things. :scratchin

Morning Dave and everyone else is still in bed!

Yesterday afternoon meeting wasnt too bad, only 2 of the scheduled 3 hours. I did come away with alot of action items, so I wont be spending too much time lurking or catching up in the next few days.

So I will get it all out of my system now. Dress warm, drink your milk, stop hitting your sister, I dont care if everyone else is doing it, and no you cant spend the night.

There, Im good for a little while now. :rotfl:

Oh, a lightweight, eh?

Hi Casey!

Good morning gentlemen. Just got done with a crazy two weeks where I was either working or on vacation to Wisconsin Dells. I'm not going to go back and read the last 40 some pages, sorry. :lmao:

Almost the whole party got sick at the Dells. So most everyone was out of commission for a day of the trip. Otherwise everyone had a blast. We also now know the kids can handle the long car ride to Orlando. Just make sure they have plenty of batteries for their Leap Pads.

:thumbsup2 It just wasn't sinking in very fast, was it? :lmao: Nice work, Tim!
You can see her mind processing what we told her then she finally understood. :rotfl2:

That's priceless Tim! Awesome moment, thanks for sharing! :thumbsup2
Thanks!

Very cool... :thumbsup2
Thanks!!

Ummm...can I send you the bill for Juliana blowing out my speakers with that scream? Your drama must not have been too bad if you rebooked. Can't wait to read about the cruise.
I didn't mention I rebooked on Friday night.... :rolleyes1 popcorn::

Sorry for the scream... I should of warned you about that. However you are my nemesis.

Also extreamly cute. You could see her mind working, "We are in New York. Disney is no where near New York yet we are going on a Disney Cruise?" The scream brought back memories.
It took a few moments... I love how she was concerned for her brother. :goodvibes

I have never been on a cruise before. I am going in with an open mind and an open stomach.
You forgot an open wallet. Oh, and be prepared to drink your face off if you want. I'd stay away from any mixed drinks.... they all tend to be watered down. :headache:

Are they accepting new exhibits... I'd love to put my children on display at the museum.
:worship: :worship: :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I might have to make breakfast on Monday morning... :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I just snagged an 'Ohana ADR for 6:35 on Sat night... Now we have to see if DW approves that. :rotfl:

What time is your Kona ADR? Might hop on that one too. :surfweb:

Got cha... I'm sure she was excited about that too! :goodvibes

Nice!! She's adorable! Thanks for sharing this!
Your welcome:thumbsup2

Morning Gents,

Hope you all have a great day. It going to be another hot and humid one here. Hopefully those of you in need of rain are starting to get some. We are starting to look for some and if it wasn't for a wet June, we would be in trouble as well.

I was there in 1981...

I'd be interested in checking it out again...
Hmmm... are you saying the Dis Dads need to invade the Tri-State area sometime? :confused3

And exceeding expectations at it.
Every once in a while I do something right. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Dry fits are great.
::yes:: :worship:
I always used to think it was ridiculous to spend that much on a T-shirt, but once I bought one I had to get more.

Sounds frustratingly good to me (being as there is no way my overlords will allow me to travel that early in January). Y’all make sure to take and post copious amounts of pictures during this outing. The rest of us will be able to look at them and feel even worse… errr… I mean take part in spirit at least.

;)
I know the feeling... but instead of overlords, it is more like the wife. :lmao:

You forgot an open wallet. Oh, and be prepared to drink your face off if you want. I'd stay away from any mixed drinks.... they all tend to be watered down. :headache:
Do they water down the 151 too? :confused3 :lmao:
How much are drinks on the cruise?
