As it is, I just surrendered in the battle vs. Torpedo grass in my yard. Sooner or later, I'll plow the whole thing up and burn it--so I can start over, but for now, I'm waving a white flag.

Well boys, I did it again. I can't help myself. It's like a compulsion. It's Tuesday, and we all know what that means. Airfare sales! Yes, I went to Southwest's website and checked the prices of the flights we have booked for next month. Sure enough, the departing flight price dropped, again. So I rebooked it, again. And added to the credit I have to use in January, again. (That works best when you read it in a Forrest Gump voice).

With all this money you're saving, it should be easy for you to buy dole whips for everyone!

Funny you should say that....

I was pulling it up and throwing it on the driveway (so that it could die a slow, painful, horrible death drying up on a baking concrete slab)...muttering "die devil weed".

Hmm.. I may only be available for breakfast. I've never been to Crystal Palace and would love to do WCC again (mmm... skillet...) but I'm coming in on Friday. I haven't figured out which parks or restaurants we will be hitting on which days but hopefully our plans will match some of this.

For any DIS Dads who drive to Disney World from north of NYC/New England, avoid the George Washington Bridge for the next few months. It is a traffic disaster:

Always. I never take it unless it is very late at night and I am close to it for some reason.

Have they been doing construction the last few months too? It seems like I always hear 1-2 hour delays on the FAN traffic updates.

Last week, they started a new project right off the bridge in NY where two lanes are now one lane. So the merge creates a backup across the bridge well into NJ.

Heading into NJ is still the 1-2 hour nightmare it always is.

Thats funny right there, I dont care who you are!

So, I spoke with SWMBO today and she wants me to look at making reservations again for WDW over Thanksgiving...but maybe look at ASM or Pop instead of POR. Im a little leery due to fundage and A/C issues, or fundage issues due to A/C. What do you guys think I should do?
