Welcome back from the cruise, Tim! I've been putting of cruising simply because I know I would LOVE it... but not sure how DW and DD would feel about it. Some day. Some day.

I've got to say, it seems kind of odd seeing a DCL ship and the NYC skyline together. I'm glad you had a good time!

Good Morning everybody. With that new DIS iPhone app, it's a lot easier to keep up. Every night as I'm giving DS his bedtime bottle I can just scroll through and see what every one is up to. But it's hard enough to type with 2 thumbs, so trying to do it with just one is about impossible. So let's see if I can remember what I wanted to say...

I have the android version... pretty cool. I haven't posted from there yet though.

Looks great. DW thinks I will love our cruise that I'll book another while there. We will see.

DW & I love cruising... this was our first Disney cruise. We haven't cruised for a while due to having a kid, dealing with kid issues, and then having another kid.

Man, bad enough I have to take orders from my wife...now I gotta' take them from *YOURS* too????

So, I take it you had a good time? DW was just talking about the possibility of booking our next cruise while onboard. But now she's wavering.

The nice thing booking onboard was the perks and being able to transfer those to a different cruise than the one I booked. (Dec 19, 2013). It cost me $145.00 and I can modify/change that date until October 2013 (which will be happening)

the 4 day is just a teaser for the 5 day. The 5 day a teaser for the 7. the 7 day is a teaser for the 10...

see where I'm going with this?

DD got a call from Mickey today to tell her how excited he is that she'll be going on the cruise. I failed at getting video of it, so DW arranged to have him call a second time!

I know what you mean... I'm an hour and a half away and last summer was the first time I could find a Saturday to get there in the past several years. We'd like to go back with DS again this year to help prepare him for our return to WDW this fall, but that isn't looking too promising either.

The changes in the past 27 years are pretty incredible. Heck, it was a lot different last summer from what it was the last time I'd been.

Let me just say this though, the Beast is still friggin' awesome!

I was there in 1981...
