Spending the day culling and then downloading pictures. Thought you would like this one from California Adventure.

Probably will be downloading until later this evening. Having a burger and fries tonight. I don't remember for certain but I don't think I had a burger all trip. And an update... it still sucks to top be home.

It's nice to know how the other half lives

CJ is the other half. Me, I just sat next to a single guy at GD Ritzy who slurped and smacked down his whole meal.

She is going to be at the haircut. To be honest, I didn't question her about her not wanting me to be at the BBB. I was in survival mode. It might be more about keeping DS occupied?? I'll talk to her about it some more. I don't want to miss anything if I don't have to. DW and DD are going to have alone time at the end of the trip when they do afternoon tea..

Makes sense. Still, hate for you to miss that one.

Our decision to do 1900 Park Fare was because we couldn't get a table for 17 people at CRT or Akershus. We're taking DD to see the princesses in town square right after BBB, so it works out that dinner later gets her lady tremaine and the stepsisters, and possible prince charming. Plus, I think they are more entertaining than the other princess dinners. Foodwise, I never have high expectations at character meals. Last time we were there, I thought it was decent.

Again, makes sense. We try to eat with the princesses to skip having to stand in line to wait for them. But, few places have availability like that. We did enjoy Park Fare the last time we were there.

Game 2 over and another victory. It was hot outside but not a close game. Hopefully, we can do it again in an hour. They did not seed the tournament on record, and it was a close game for two innings. Then, we pulled away. It will be tough teams the rest of the way thru.

Youngest dd is 2nd youngest on team and second worst player. She is not used to that, but is still having fun. I'm sure being on an undefeated team helps. Game 3 starts at 5:30. It is a double elimination tournament, which means if two teams make the final undefeated, it becomes a 3 game series. Who knew 8U girls softball was this competitive?

First off, happy birthday wishes to both Mrs. Dave and Mrs. Mike.


Second off, yard work in mid-high nineties heat and 85% humidity is one great big mug of steaming hot Beverly backwash. On the up side I only came near fainting once and never actually succumbed to the dry heaves. It could have been worse.


I think the plan for the rest of the evening will be dominated by the sitting on my duff.

Tonight in Canada we went to Le Cellier (afterall we are in Canada)...

That may rank as one of the more epic DisDad Meets on record.

If you happen to be in the chair around the noon hour, chances are rather good you’ll find yourself being entertained by the Dapper Dan as well. It makes for quite the photo-op.

Watching the race now and getting ready for softball later. Two games scheduled for today. These three day weekends are going by way too fast.

I now know about this. If I was getting mine cut too, I'd probably see about changing the rezzie to noon-ish. For DS, i think we'll keep the 10am for the first time. Good info for future trips though!!! Thanks guys!!

Well I have the Nikon D5100 as my primary camera but I am in a position to pick up a T2i probably to use as a back up camera. Are they good? I know Nikon brand up and down but hardly anything on canon. Is the t2i a good camera? Anything I should look out for?

It's a great camera! I just wanted the basic since I was just starting out. If ou are versed with a Nikon, then I think the Canon will be a pretty easy transition.

geez, i dont even know some of you guys. a few new names. when i do get to log on, i spend my time "over there".
ill have to start spending more time over here also. now with another heat wave coming this week and yet another round of storms, this week of work should be busy again.
