I can give you a good testimonial as well. I'm even thinking about converting everything over to Apple - iPhone and MacBook.

The DD's have been saving and doing extra chores to earn enough money to buy a kimono at the Japan pavilion. Have any of you ever bought one for your kids or wife?

Heading to bed in five minutes wanted to say good nights to you all, and add to yesterdays work topic saying work turned out better than expected. Capping the night off with some rum. Off all day tomorrow, but have to mow the yard and few other things.

Yeah, that was me for about a year. It got longer for a while before I trimmed it back. Debated growing it out again for next year's trip, but ended up getting rid of it period, face kept breaking out. ...

I'll always keep mine. I look too young. DW never saw me without it and asked me to shave it. I did, and both she and oldest dd asked me to grow it back.

The truck with last night's load showed, no probs. Two hours later, tonight's showed up as well. Turns ouut most stores opted to get it all out of the way, so they figured we'd do it too. Would have been nice if they'd tell us first. I got the skids in, but the place is JAMMED, and I have 5-6 skids of domestic beer to arrive tomorrow.

Another good day today. Lots of Disneyland rides and a great dinner tonight. Waking up at 6:00 to hit early entry into Carsland at 7:00.

Try Duct Tapping the kid to the bed. Always worked for me.

The only bourbon I've ever had was Old Forester. I don't remember much about that night but woke up with a flag from the 2nd hole of the golf course in my pocket. I learned later that the guys I went out with that night were friends of the bartender.

We are taking the participants of the Nut Growers Meeting to Buffalo Trace as a diversion from talks about chestnut gall wasps and other interesting things but as I am driving I will have to pass on the samples if they offer.

Catching up on last night's The Closer. Watch it?

I tried watching the Closer a few times. Just could not get into it. I am more of a Law & Order fan, although I liked the original series and the Criminal Intent series.

DW came through huge and got me a new iPad 3 with bluetooth keyboard/case. Checking in for the first time on the iPad app for Disboards. Takes a little getting use to, but I'm loving this new toy! DD commandeered the original iPad a long time ago, and the macbook is DW's, so it's nice to finally have a nice apple product of my own to play with!

Awesome. I really liked the refurb Gen 1 iPad. Great product.

I'll send a note.

Long day today.

12 hour day today with 205 driving miles. I am tired. Drove straight to youngest dds softball game. They won. She hit a single, scored off a hit a throwing error, and fielded a ball at SS and tagged out runner. It was a good game.

Caught up on the posts, drank my Woodford Reserve, and am heading off to bed.

Hey gang! Fell behind... again. Life sure can be funny that way.

finally painted the other half of our family room today. a few touchups are needed, but it's close to being done. It's only taken a little over 2 years!

Now I need to put up a shelf over the computer desk, hang and fill picture frames, put doors over the bar to hide it, and eventually reface the fireplace in a faux stone to replace the ugly red bricks.

add a plant or two and I think it will finally be done!

trip is coming up fast, it's technically Thursday, so that means...

17 more days!!

Evening/Morning/whatever folks....

It was a long day, but impressive. Worked from 8:30am to 10:50pm, just a 15 minute break and a 1/2 hour lunch. Bit tired now.

Me and a co-worker got 20 skids done in 4 hours, shocking everyone. Boss actually had things running smooth, so that helped. Too bad domestic beer didn't show till 5pm, had to do that one myself. Got lots accomplished though, we're all caught up.

I'll always keep mine. I look too young. DW never saw me without it and asked me to shave it. I did, and both she and oldest dd asked me to grow it back.



But, at least you get to work with beer all day. :

DW doesn't care if I have it or not. I'll likely grow it back some day, when I feel like a change.

Buffalo Trace in the past couple of weeks has been a hot seller at my store went from sitting on cases to running out like that Wonder if it won an award so something like that for the sudden rush. We have some Old Forrester left I think, competes with Wild Turkey and Corner Creek in seeing which American Whiskey can sit there the longest.

Finally got back home from the in-laws. Kids are in bed (again), the minivan is unloaded, and I am having a beer. I hate construction on the tri-state - 294 was down from 5 lanes to 2 in sections. Fortunately, the drive was only an extra 35 minutes or so - but it meant we got back well after midnight. Not sure what we will do for breakfast - anything in the fridge is pretty dodgy after almost two weeks away. Pretty sure I have frozen juice in the freezer, and the kids never like milk with their cereal anyway.

Haven't tried Buffalo Trace. It is a new one, so to speak, only 12 years on the market. It has captured quite a few awards. I may try it one if these times.

Unloading the minivan. Probably the worst part of any trip. At least it is done and you can move onto laundry.

Morning guys!

Came in late this morning due to anal glaucoma. Today is my Friday, taking tomorrow off to drive to West Virginia for my 20 yr High School Reunion. I had planned on taking Monday off as well, but they scheduled a 3 hr meeting that afternoon for several projects that I am a key player in. Go figure.

I was able to skip out on my 2 O'clock meeting yesterday, and it was reasonably justified, which always makes it better.
