Over 400 miles on the road today but I saw parts of the state I had never seen before. Time for some dinner but too tired to cook. Likes like a can of salmon, twizzlers and wine.

:crowded: When my 8 year old tries that I leave her there and take her bed. SWMBO snores and the Jr. SWMBO kicks. They deserve each other.

I may have to appropriate that saying for future reference.

Did someone say Twizzlers :cool1:

Im hoping Santa brings me one for Christmas...I might need someone to tell Santa's helper Shari for me!!

:lmao:

I can have DW write a moving testimonial on the merits of owning an iPad for you :thumbsup2

Morning guys :thumbsup2

Getting closer to the weekend.

The DD's have been saving and doing extra chores to earn enough money to buy a kimono at the Japan pavilion. Have any of you ever bought one for your kids or wife?

Mornin Dave and the rest o' the dads!!

Busy day filled with meetings I don't want to be in, with a quick trip to the airport to pick up one of our employees and drop him off somewhere else. Breaks up the monotony pretty nicely.

I have thought about purchasing kimono's for my DD's but never went through with it. Let me know how they turn out!

Matt

Man you guys are chatty lately. Currently bleary eyed and skipping through the posts. Paul, not sure I mentioned it but Happy Birthday. If I did mention it earlier, forget the last sentence.

Thanks CJ! Unless you already said it , and I already thanked you, in which case this message will self destruct in 5 seconds.

‘Morning all…

Morning folks...

Notice there was not "Good" at the beginning of that sentence.

You’ll notice that I’ve never added the word “good” to the beginning of my greeting.
I know better.

Got caught at a light cranking Wayne Brady singing Tiki Room, car next to me was laughing, didn't bother me a bit 39 more days baby, In their face, my instincts are returning, they simply mock what they do not understand:thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Fly that geek flag.
But then again… I tend to mock those that don’t get my Dis obsession.
Maybe I should try to be more understanding of their point of view.

Naaaaaaaaaa! :lmao:

you're assuming she'll get me out?

I wouldn’t be makin’ that assumption.

Oddly, that's pretty much what you missed around here - a garage load of junk.

That might just make a good title for a future trhead.
:scratchin

Thanks guys... No I am not off doing something stupid. Just taking it easy. Nothing bad happened to me at work or anything. Just cleaning up someone else's F'ups, and playing fixer was not easy on this one. Waiting to see if I get called back in tonight or not. It should be fine. Wasn't my fault. I had thought about hitting the wine, but I work tomorrow, so can't go in like that.

I hated when I’d bring my job home with me.
I use to do it constantly, but then after about thirty years of being their most valuable asset… I got laid-off anyway.

Turns out that wealthy people and overlords really don’t care whether you live or die.
I don’t do that any more.

but what if the problem is bacon???

Now that would be a problem. :crazy2:

So I made a deal. I am going in tomorrow at 9am and doing a double shift, staying until 10:30pm. Going to focus on unloading and putting away everything, and get the store in tip-top shape for a upper-management visit Thursday. Thursday I go in for 1/2 a day, getting out at 6 to start my vacation early. :thumbsup2 Will make things easier for me here, still need to pack, laundry etc. But in the end, I am the one fixing the mess....again, one hard day's work is worth early vacation though.

Nice work. We should all find a way to use our employer rather then the normal reverse of that.

Another good day today. Lots of Disneyland rides and a great dinner tonight. Waking up at 6:00 to hit early entry into Carsland at 7:00.

And every one here wishes we were tagging along.
Have a great day.
:goodvibes

Good morning everyone, heading out the door to the most magical place on earth. Wish me luck. I will pop on every now and then.

Luck!
Of course, a day working at Disney still has to be better then a day working where I am.

Morning Fellas!

but what if the problem is bacon???

Bacon is NEVER the problem. Often the solution, but never the problem. :thumbsup2

Noe i'm out got to get a reserve::yes::

We buy it three pounds at a time at Sam's Club. :goodvibes

Met with the insurance adjuster about DD16's car yesterday. The estimate came in at almost $1800. :crazy2: I sure am glad we lowered our deductible this year.
