Ill never have the magic fizzle for me. I have always loved Disney, and I love working with them. I am a people person which makes hospitality an excellent place for me here. The only way I'd leave would be if I got a position as a pilot. I am trying to get my CP License.

DD had her first surfing lesson yesterday. Too bad I was stuck at work to see the magic! DW said she did pretty good... was able to get up a few times. Here's one of her short attempts:

She has two more days of lessons - today and tomorrow. Might be calling in sick <cough> tomorrow....

That's awesome! Congratulations to her, and I think a sick day would be appropriate here. Even though you're just getting back to work after a vacation.

I know we are booked solid for the month of August and I am fearing that month lol. But let me know when you will be there and I will try for sure.

Actually, that picture ought to be used in the dictionary to illustrate the word: patience.
Attempting to surf anywhere on the east coast is one l-o-n-g exercise in waiting for a wave large enough to carry you more then six feet.

Unless there's a hurricane out to sea. Then you're in for a ride. I remember swimming with college buddies one summer with a storm somewhere in the Atlantic churning up the waters. After a while, a few of us decided it was too rough and came in. Waves were probably 6-8'. Some of the other guys stayed out and insisted it was fine. Then we saw a monster wave coming. We heard a shout of, "It's too big!!" and then just a crash of water.

Everybody swam in to shore after that.

Well, I booked us on the Magnolia course, which is where the pros play on the PGA tour. I'll be finish the round and still have a ball or two in my bag.

Hey - more good news! I checked my Southwest flights for August, and the return flight dropped $16. I re-rebooked and saved us another $64 to be used for the Dis Dads Convention.


And since I haven't declared ownage in quite a while: Cheaper flight ownage!

Hey guys. Just poking my head back in after a couple weeks of vacation. The usual stuff:

Drive to Florida
Get on a cruise ship
Get airlifted off Castaway Cay on a Coast Guard helicopter due to a medical emergency
Head to Orlando after getting out of the hospital
Enjoy the rest of vacation

Soooooo... yeah, not quite like I drew it up, and I'm very sorry I missed most of PCC 3.0, but I ended up on the other side of vacation alive, so that's nice.

I heard about it on the live Podcast Cruise show. Did not know that was you. Sorry to hear about it and glad things got better.

Trying to blast the kid out of bed today. We were going to get up at 6 to move our stuff to the Grand California this morning but I blew that off. She has about 5 minutes before I pour cold water one her.

It's going...

I hope to post on our PTR tonight or one of these days but basically I have more stretching to do and I can start some light jogging. He said it is better but not 100% yet. He knows I am anxious to start up again.
