DS was sent home from school today, they thought he was getting chicken pox. Turns out i was just a reaction to some antibiotics he was on.

He's home with DW now...

Wow, I leave the office for a few hours and you guys get all chatty. I think that was 5 pages to catch up on. And all the beer talk is making me thirsty. Someone did tell me hydration was key in my training for the half marathon....

Carl, your marathon sounds like the only one many of us would run. But wouldn't it be more of a relay, than a Marathon? Matt, OUCH! Glad it went OK.

Commented on that earlier. Great ending. Good to see LeBron come thru. Let's just hope we doesn't get to be the only player to lose a finals ahead 3-1.

This is an exciting series even though it is 3-1. May lose game 5 but I doubt they will lose three in a row.

Scott, Don and Mike, great picture. Bad composition though not having the other beers in there.

Started dragging all the dive gear and the camera junk together. Want to get that finished tonight so I can start packing tomorrow. Only one more load of wash to go.

Not much. Went to Logan's for dinner, had a nice steak topped with blue cheese crumbles

My gift was a new safety razor! I am shaving old school style! It works great and the blades are so much cheaper than what I was using before.

Boma was good, but I gave Jiko a higher grade because of the experience. I'm not a usual one for style when I eat, but the restaurant at Jiko was so much nicer, food was great, and since we were staying at resort, had complimentary cauliflower soup which was amazing. Jiko also gave us a warm finger towel to clean our hands, which just really impressed this hillbilly.

ESPN has sports and pitchers of draft beer. Enough said.

I was a little hesitant, but it was good. Some of it melted onto the steak. I should have just ordered medium, medium well was a little tough. I don't eat steak enough to be too picky.

Yeah, I order medium. If I know a place over cooks, I'll go med rare.

Well, I can't blame you. We had a great server. We were one of the first seatings of th night, so maybe that made a difference.

Wednesday stay at home ownage.

I ordered and received a new Disney DVD today. So, while staying home with youngest dd, it was great to visit WDW again. Brandy was the narrator and Megan toured the parks with us. Not sure what happened to Stacy. They included the Fantasy Land expansion and Art of Animation in it. It was great to be there again. It included by own URL. Time to go and see if I have a great vacation offer.

They had redone the whole video when we were there in April. I don't think that Stacy was in it at all.

Topped out at 96 today...

Tomorrow is suppose to be warmer...

Beautiful day here on the beach with temps in the mid 80's. Looks like we chose a good week to be here. Of course it was made even better by getting my first DisDad's meet today.

Evening guys...had prepped up some multiquoting but lost it all. Ahwell, lost nuggets of wisdom.

Beer Workshop was very well done, at Labatt's HQ on Queen's Quay downtown Toronto. Being at the lakefront helped when a fire drill forced us outside for a while. Breeze kept it cooler. Tasted a lot of brews, and got lots of useful info (like we might get Sierra Nevada later in the year!!) As well as other US Micros. Meal was outstanding too, considering no bacon. A good distraction from the crap at work.


Norm, how is DD doing? I must have missed it.

Read to Audrey all the birthday wishes, she was thrilled, even if she didn't quite understand who you all were..

Ok now that I have some room mates for our DDC trip its time to get to know them a little better. So here we go.Scott,Chris here is a what would you do question.

We are sitting around the room socializing and I start to choke on a bacon wrapped scallop. What would you do???? would you hand me a beer to wash it down? would you get me a glass of water as to not share the beer? would you just let me choke to save more bacon/scallops and beer for you? Would you move me from in front of the fridge so if I died I would not block the path to the fridge? or other???

Been busy at WDW and haven't had time to post but I had to share this.
We were leaving EPCOT and some CM's diverted us around a walkway near spaceship earthe due to a 3+ foot Copper head hanging out of a planter. He was defiantly real and not in a good mood.
Otherthan that we have been having a magical time. Rode sorin 3x today 2x a few days ago where I caught the golf ball the second time through. Both DD'S did padawan training, and did great. We r hitting MK again tomorrow with breakfast at CP. hope all had a great fathers day. My DD'S were certainly good to me.

Looks like we'll be passing each other on the way in / out of WDW. I check out Aug 26. I originally scheduled my vacation the exact dates as you, but we moved it back a week. Where are you staying @ WDW?
