Evening folks...

It's a well needed long weekend here in Canada...

Just need to start it off with COFFEE.

All I have off is Monday this weekend, I am working a Sunday shift for the first time in about a year, so it doesn't feel like a long weekend to me. On the other hand, I am off the other two summer long weekends, so I'm just biding my time...

We had our back metal awning fold right up over the house last summer. Neighbor called me at work to let me know it us sitting on my roof. He called back about 10 minutes later to let me know not to worry about coming home, it was now sitting between my house and the other neighbors fence. Oops!!

Bleh..that would really suck, hope the house wasn't damaged. One guy had the awning very secured to his trailer, the wind still blew the awnig up and ripped a hole in the trailer. Heavy rains used to be an issue too if their awnings wern't off-level for drainage.

After a long day of beer moving, it still brought a smile to my face.

glad they liked the movie. don't people know by now that you have to stay through the credits??

We did for Avengers and for POTC 4, but it's another nuance that has now been duplicated and not much is added to the story. I would say the producers figured out how to get people to watch the credits, but those waiting afte still ignoring them and just posting on their cell phones.

Yeah, but it's still fun to see, we do it for every Disney pic, just in case (and some non Disney) POTC 3 was a nice epilouge to the trilogy and brought a little closure to the Turner-Swann relationship, Winnie-The-Pooh's was fun, and even the much maligned Haunted Mansion had an appropriate closer.


Another busy one today at work, I didn't get a full day in the beer, I was pulled elsewhere for the morning. Did get in this afternoon though, till I left anyways. Between it being so busy and so hot, plus tired in general, I got cranky as the day went on.
Brought home work with me. some Mad Tom IPA, Wellington's Arkell Bitter and Moosehead Cracked Canoe to be precise.
