So, has anyone else tried the DisBoards App for iPad? I am posting these messages right now on it. I'm not sure I like it though.

I just started using it, really like the way it's laid out. I find it pretty easy to use. I love it on the iPad!!

Gonna Watch Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol...

Haven't heard many good things about it, but not much out there for rental now... and rental places are becoming more few and far between.

Have yet to see that one. Let us know what you thought of it.

on a related note, by coming to work, I learned that Tom Cruise and what's-her-face are getting divorced. Katie holmes, i think it was.

On the way home from our cruise we had some bad issues with Southwest. I called as I was advised to by the suprvisor to report it to customer service. They gave us 4 100 dollar vouchers for flight within the next 12 months...Shari is nearly about to break over for a fall trip to the world!!! she said she "missed" it

Evening folks..

Back from seeing Brave, very nice. Girls loved it, Audrey was pretty good throughout, for her anyways. Not a lot of true Disney fans in the crowd though, only we stayed till the end to see the post-credit scene.


Work was crazy busy for a long weekend, two shifts to go. Moved a LOT of beer today.

glad they liked the movie. don't people know by now that you have to stay through the credits??

Well, the posts look better thru safari. Plus, I get the emoticons and my signature here which I don't get to see on the App

I agree about the sig and emoticons. Im guessing the lack of these is keeping it fast. I like the speed and ability to navigate at the bottom of the screen.
Just discovered you can turn signs on in the setting options but not emoticons.

Morning folks..

Had the same front move through here too. We lost a pop up canopy that took off when the wind hit. Retrieved it and fixed it with duck tape. I saw others in worse shape, including an RV with the awning flipped on it's roof.

When I was younger and we spent summers at the trailer, everyone braced for windstorms securing awnings...many were flipped, sometimes ripped right off the trailers. Good times... Get up there once a year now, most have added screen rooms now, almost no awnings.

It's worth it for sure, heck, any Disney movie is. We wanted Audrey's first theater experience to be a Disney flick. When we got back to the car, there were Merida dolls waiting for the girls on their seats. Audrey was a little scared by some scenes but wasn't traumatized or anything.

Yeah I hope to man the beer fridge again today and hope to keep up with things as best I can. There is a looming logistics issue though, I have a lot of excss beers on skids in the warehouse, and some have been buried by new incomming skids, so I might have some digging to do. At least I'll keep cool.

Yeah. I uninstalled it. Evn after you turn on the signature, you lose the links and other stuff.

Nope... I'm in Kentucky today and tomorrow for Nascar races. Talked to dw this afternoon and we got wind that took down limbs and removed some siding, but no precip.

How th traffic is better. No relief here from the heat, so I hope it is better for you.

We have a small airfield a couple of miles from our house. We seem to be right in line with one of the approaches, and get to see a lot of small planes fly right over. Memorial Day weekend is usually pretty cool because of the airshows at the beach, and we get to see the planes going there and coming back.

When I worked at UPS in Louisville, after work, there was a great place to pull off the road outside of the runway and gated property, and watch the airplanes take off. The good ole days.

We did for Avengers and for POTC 4, but it's another nuance that has now been duplicated and not much is added to the story. I would say the producers figured out how to get people to watch the credits, but those waiting afte still ignoring them and just posting on their cell phones.
