(pssst, brian, im a yankee fan.)

:lmao: i do like your pictures!!

that was one of the greatest nights of my life. watching that ball go over the left field wall!!

Survived my DD's Sleepover part, just finished making pancakes with chocolate chips and strawberries.

So one of her friends had a Pluto pillow from Disneyland.

I asked her if she had been there. Turns out she used to live in California.

She has been there many times, she is not even 10 yet... She was telling me about a bunch of her favorite attractions in a lot of detail.

I hate her! ;)

:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :lmao: poor girl. she did nothing but visit the happiest place on earth...

We won most original design :cool1: I told my competitors that meant Best of Show :rotfl:

:thumbsup2

Morning guys. A little slow even for me. Two more soccer games today 4 hours apart but at the same series of fields. We had two yesterday and both girls did well. We strive for fun and that was achieved. I get frustrated on the sidelines but have no time to coach. The opponents were both good yesterday d7's team got pummeled and d9's team held their own. Proud father for girls that just started.

way to go DDs!

Hi There. Good luck on losing weight. I am down 20 pounds since Jan 1. I am now 5 pounds away from my goal, but it is getting tougher to lose those pounds now. Anyways, I have a quick quesion for all of the Did dads out there. My family and I will be heading to WDW his summer, and we will be going to AK, the first time for my DD7 and DS4. My question is that is there anywhere in AK where you can get a pineapple dole whip? I always get them at MK but I had never had one at AK. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks! and good luck to you as well! I've been hearing it gets tougher. Expecting to hit the wall.

Key Largo update. Rain is gone but the winds are howling. Seas are 5-7 this morning and will get worse this afternoon. Was going out but not in this junk. The dive operation canceled anyway. My only hope to see anything will be tomorrow morning.

The pool is open however and the barmaid is pouring drinks. My life does not suck.

thanks for rubbing it in. :rotfl2:

Cold, damp Sunday afternoon. The long, dark tea-time of the soul.

for some dads, it's the "tee time" of the soul... or maybe they just wish it was.

Brian blocking ownage.

Good soccer game. Youngest dd was hungover from no sleep and did not play well, but two of my other players, who never played soccer before this season, scored goals for the first time this season. They and their parents were so happy. It is nice to have a winning season, but that is what it is all about. All of my players except one has scored this season. On the bad news side, oldest dd slammed car door on DW's hand. It is swollen and painful. The plan was to get new tires this month, but that may be on hold. We'll see.

had to reread to understand the hangover part. :rotfl2: Congrats to the team for having a good year. Sorry to hear about DW's hand. Hope it feels better soon.

Today we went to Atlantic City to see Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus at The Boardwalk Hall, it was a great day for it since it is raining here:thumbsup2

We had really good seats floor level row 21 end seats, well they should have been really good BUT, a family of 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) were in front of us, it turned out to be a road block they had the kids standing on there laps and it was hard for anyone for the next few rows to see anything, when they were all sitting this lady 6 rows up kept getting up and walking around her row:scared1:

I wasn't surprised we are in NJ:eek:, I can't stand these people that think they are the only one's there, reminds me of the Parade Pushers that work their way to the front, thinking they entitled to a front spot without waiting:rolleyes1

Well I didn't make a scene, mainly because one of the Husband's was built like a tank and would have been able to put a hurting on me:eek:, so we ventured to higher ground got a spot on a higher level with no one around, it was great, we could see everything no road blocks, no one getting up and down walking around:thumbsup2

After this and past concerts we have gone to, floor seats are not worth getting, since they are not angled right, never again for floor seats, unless I don't want to see the show:confused:

sorry to hear those damn NJ people were so rude. Wait, I was born and raised in NJ! :scared1:

Not all of us are so inconsiderate!! (Just most of us) :rotfl2:

The ownage really was unintentional.

Ouch, sorry for DW.

Sounds like a great season of soccer. :thumbsup2

oouch!!! i had my finger in a car door when i was a kid. that hurts like crazy. i hope shes feeling better soon.

OOUCH:scared1: hope she feels better, looks like you might have to pick up on some extra housework this week:confused3

Thanks. The swelling is going down, but she still hurts.

Yeah, I hate those jerks as well.

I don't know if Norm's wife is a Stay at Home Mom or not, if she is this could be Workman's Comp:scared1: Then it could be weeks before she feels her hand is well enough for housework:lmao:

Not a SAHM. So, no workman's comp claim. Good thought.

:

I don't know what better way to describe it, but they are so tired from not sleeping the night before they are completely out of it. I hate dds' sleepovers.

I told DW about your comments about her hand. She said thanks. She wanted to know if any of the docs had stopped by to diagnose her. I offered her my lortab but I think she went with some NSAIDs instead.

I just found out that Patrick (turkeylurkey) was admitted to the ER today for a jaw infection. He's supposed to stay there for two days. Hopefully, he'll get better soon. Especially since his wife may be giving birth fairly soon (I believe the due date is next week sometime). Please keep him and his family if your thoughts and prayers.

Our thought and prayers are with your brother, and our friend.

That is some painful stuff, hope it's something rather simple like tooth that can be taken care of quickly:good vibes, Prayers going out to Patrick & his family:goodvibes

Talking in the car on the way home from the circus today, after dealing with people that think they are the only one's there, We did bring up MK, fireworks and parades at the hub, We did the hub on our Honeymoon, I was not impressed, very crowded with a lot of pushing to the front type happening there:scared1:, basically the same felling I had trying Main Street the same trip:eek:

Anyone I have ever meet up with, it was not at the hub, I will not go there for Rope Drop, Fireworks, or Parade, on the DDC in Dec a couple years ago I was close (space mountain) but not going to the hub:scared1:

Last year when I met Brent, and it was getting close to the parade time, he said they were going to adventure land:worship: This is also where I prefer to catch the parade, no pushing to see the parade, light crowd, fast escape afterwards, it's almost like being in the suburbs instead of the city, we had a GREAT time:thumbsup2

One of my main objectives is to avoid the crowds, I like to be a step ahead or a few steps behind:cool1:

Come to think of it I can't recall any DDC meets that have been in a heavy crowded area of the park:confused3

Morning Men!

Once again its Monday, and I will soon be headed up to Virginia Beach to get my 8 hours of enforced servitude in. However, I do get to work from home the next three days, as the roofers will be here collecting my savings. I mean redoing my roof. They should be done by Thursday, so its back to the office for Friday. :cool1:

Morning everyone....got in some rest this weekend that was the goal, but it all got negated last night by a pissy cat who jumped on the bed twice an hour and tried to bite us :headache: Work at 9 now, boss called me in early over the weekend.

Looks like they call for snow :headache::scared1::headache: today, great..I am more not wanting it up north, I am supposed to head up to my parent's trailer and get the tarp/plastic off in preperation of the season on Wednesday

Yeah, the only reason we initially met up in the hub area was at the AAA/CAA firework viewing area, which wasn't crowded due to limited access, and we sat and talked until the crowd dispersed band made our way to adventureland and frontierland to see the second showing of MSEP
