The dogs woke me up at 4:00 because a car parked in front of the house. They were on hyper alert and made sure the neighborhood knew it. Of course, they are now sound asleep and I am up for the day. Not a good TGIF start.

It is a beautiful Friday, and I say that because, well mostly because I can. Today end my business trip of 11-12 hr days, and I have a weekend to look forward to. Gotta love it.

Good morning guys. Another frosty morning in the hollers. Hopefully the last one for the season. Early blueberries and grapes froze, scattered damage in the peaches, apples and Asian pears. At least the hops are OK.

Things look like they are getting back to normal here on the DIS.

I am noticing slight changes with the layout... I wonder if they did a software (or software and hardware) upgrade.

Too funny. NOT. I was at a meeting last night. Popped on to see what was going on in the thread yesterday morning but didn't take the time to comment on anything.

Andy - wow, bummer about the truck, but very glad no one was hurt.

CJ - congrats on the Pirate Princess Pirate bringing home a nice guy, and not a loser.

Everyone else - I don't have anything to add.

Soooo..... hey guys! Just doing a little weekly check-in - at least I think it's been about a week since I last did. My DIS time has dropped off dramatically. Been fasting from this stuff for the most part. It got to be way too time consuming. I have several threads that I "administer", and finally got rid of one of them a couple of days ago, so that helps. I do check in and communicate with different people - but lately more of that has been through FB or other means vs. here. I have not joined the other site nor do I intend to - simply because I have more DIS stuff going on than just this group through other threads and communities, and I consciously made the decision a while back that this (the DIS) was the only online forum that I would maintain a presence in. I had tried being on two different forums in the past, and it didn't work well at all. So if anyone has been wondering why I haven't shown up over there - that's why. It's nothing personal - I just don't have the time or energy to devote to multiple forums.

So with all of that said - I will let you get back to your regularly scheduled banter, and I will say TTFN as I have a few things to get done before a lunch meeting with a client today. Take care all.
